Cutter seems to put out some water forward of blades. Dust sucks it up so well it still looks dry but like sand (no way - it's got to be like baby powder). They pack leaving damp dust in thick layers on stones - will dry out by the time customer received it. So customer snips tethers and gets a five year solution in one instant poof. Bad for repeat business.
Must be a limestone or other sedimentary stone quarry. That stone seems to be cut very easily. Obviously it is not volcanic like the region I live in..
Yeah it looks sedimentary for sure, not sure what exactly it is. Judging by how easily they were handling those blocks they can't have weighed more then 50 Ibs.
Wow, that must be styrofoam rock. Cuts like softwood and is, judging by the ease the workers lift the blocks, very light. Is it suitable as a structural element in walls or buildings, or, only used as a facing stone. I'd love to have 100 tons or so of this stuff to build dry stack walls around my house. I could cut it into irregular regular form to make an attractive result. I live in Newfoundland and we have massive stone deposits, but, it is very expensive to purchase here. Go figure. Too sad.
They don't spend much effort when they re-align the rails Not sure why a bandwas isn't used to cut this soft stuff, since they would loose a lot less stone. This is 19th cent. tech lol
Your limestone cutting machine is great! We can work together with you on some projects due to we are producing brick making machines which use waste left after stone cutting as raw materials. You can find more information on our website - titan-machinery.com/en
