STONE RUN 1998 

I was telling a mate about some "mandatory viewing" because he had never heard of Stone. I told him to search it and I happened to find this. I cant believe it is now 50 years since the movie, 25 years since celebrating the 25th anniversary!

Peter Armstrong told me the story of jump the bike off the cliff. He was black and blue all over his back for more than a month. He was an exceptional stunt man. I wish I could have spent more time with him.

"Cause shit mate I was there, I ought to know, may lighting strike me dead" yes I was there, I'm 54 now, nothing tops that stone run. The best days of my life. I would sell my soul to go back in time.

I remember seeing the movie Stone in about 80, and then I saw them ride up the freeway. Midnight was given a BMW with aboriginal decorations, and somewhere between 50 - 100 000 bikers rode on that day. 1 man died in the procession, and it was lead by Angry Anderson...

The road going from Sydney to Gosford.. As a young fella I loved the drive to Gosford over the Hawkesbury River and Up to the Entrance and Toukley were my Nana lived. And going to Soldiers beach and Avoca beach Lovley place.

Hell we need a rally like this once a year

Sandy was my friend he sent me a patch from America and it kept getting stolen off me and I got set up. They were jealous. I handed it into the mra at tas rally cos I was sick of the jealousy here in Tassie and the mainland. . I miss him terribly. I solved a few mysteries. Ride free upstairs with Sonny. I love you both. The only cuddles I got as a kid and there was only 3 was from him an American who gave me a patch as a little kid and glen. That’s why I hung with the bike scene. I got too manhandled. And set up.

Anything planed for the 50th?

After the events of stone, the world was plunged into war. The world crumbled. Several brothers from the gravediggers went to fight in the war in the middle east.As the oil fields burned and the war drug on, the troops burned towns and killed at will. One soldier began to take toes as a trophy from his kills. A fellow soldier, sgt kundalini named him toecutter. A short time later they returned to the outback to find it changed for the worse. Scarce fuel and resources. Some wondering bandits. Police officers and a small police force formed to keep order. One police officer in particular, officer zanetti didnt handle the collapse of society as many didnt. He took a police bike and vanished into the outback............

weof course now the cops would need to breathtest everyone ..lol
