@cooldrew11 I didn't say he isn't good but he doesn't play Joel's stuff as well. Joel has a very unique double bass technique. In fact, the reason Joel's version of. 30-30/150 was the keeper because Roy's version wasn't as good but Shannon Larkin recorded it because they had already fired Joel when he left the studio to take care of his cancer stricken son. They just have different styles. Most of the drumming on CW(E)M was in Ekman's writing. Plus he founded the band with Taylor so I think he should still be with them since it was his baby.

+rmpunk99 I think more that he left because yes his son had Cancer, but probably for a longtime and Stone sour eventually went on with a new drummer, I think his son had the cancer during Corey and Jim had their Slipknot duties.
