Quite a quick fight but satisfying to do so many Crits with Dual Axes, and in general besides Concentration stacks i found it was really worth raising the Axe Stance stacks too for the Crit chance, well that Bloodlust curse also helped and it was a good choice to pump some PRC too besides the usual AGL and STR that i go for on dualwielding builds. In fact at one point when i was checking his health i even saw it was below 20% and i thought i missed the signal to throw the Elixir at him so i checked the log, but i just did a lot of dmg too fast for it to trigger i guess, luckily i didn't just kill him. Anyway Venemist saved!
Next i will do some exploring for Remote dungeons and unique POIs, and as i level up will continue to increase my Crit chance with Intimidation passive in Combat Mastery, that's why i got Warcry now as my last skill thou Warcry itself proved to be pretty good too. After it i'll get Kick, Push the Falling and No Time to Linger in Athletics also for the Crit and some more Energy regeneration, and finally get to Adrenaline which is always great. Also i think i still want to get AGL to 20 points for the Hand Efficiency mainly and to improve my Fumble chance so i can buy a couple of Brynn Hatchet axes as upgrades, these Rider Axes i have do good dmg and helped a lot with their innate +ACC and -Fumble but with higher dmg axes i will just do juicier Crits.

Do you stream? / Can you do a playthrough and upload it?

I don't stream, and i don't think a playthrough will be interesting to watch because i play relatively slow, a character takes some 3 weeks for me to finish. So i just post the boss fights because they are more exciting, and for ppl to see what skills, gear, items i use if they are stuck and don't know how they can beat it.

@@daciandraco380 You can make some highlights in short videos -- or something like that, bc i would be interesting see how is that you lvl up those characters some main decisions or some interesting dungeons etc, I would see all of that

How to improve crit chance?
@daciandraco380

Well at that time it was mostly with the 1H Axe stance Massacre and as many stacks of it as possible, then Hornet Honey drug also gives significant Crit chance, and lastly every other bit that adds up like from my Rider Axes, the Battle Rage i get from using Warcry and even the Bloodlust cursed amulet i'm wearing. Also in the video description i mention in the 2nd paragraph what other sources of Crit i will add as i level further, what is not mentioned but is intuitive is the More Blood passive from Dualwielding tree and even Reprisal passive in 1H Axe which i don't have yet.

@@snow_ke4983 Well i don't know if we play the same build or in the same way, but i can tell you before this fight i had reached Respect Rep in Brynn and unlocked the Fence too so i had access to buy anything possible but i didn't buy "better" stuff because i think this is the best i could use in this fight with my build. And i mean the consumables used too, they also mattered significantly in the fight and i will try to explain everything and why they helped. To start off i will say that in general to Dodge an attack means to take half damage, but with also the Smoke Bomb i threw at start and maybe some Stagger that i applied with my Mutilating Lunge on the Manticore i got him to have a high Fumble Chance vs me, and a Fumbled attack means to take half damage as well, and sometimes even miss entirely because that's what happens when at the same time i Dodge a Fumbled attack from him. For this reason i also chose the Raider Axes witch i think are best because of +ACC and -Fumble and also Crit and Crit Efficiency on top, so i could to most damage and not miss or Fumble my hits vs the Manticore, and i also made sure to have up all the time several stacks of my Concentration buff, so even if i get an Injury that debuffs me i still have good ACC and hopefully no Fumble chance. Secondly i hope you know that the Jewelry, Belt and Cape apply global Resistance buffs on all my bodyparts so i made sure had some Rending Res and Bleed Res Enchantments on them to help in this fight, also my body armor was very good because it had Rending Res too which few armors have and is good when fighting Beast type enemies in general. Then all the herbs i ate at before the fight besides reducing the Intoxication i got from Hornet Honey also gave me significant Bleed Res for some turns in the fight, which is great to avoid because Bleeding not only reduces my HP over time but also slowly damages the bodypart, and i hope you know that the more Max HP you have the harder it is to get Injuries in general, and this is why some of the +HP Enchantments i had also helped. Then at about 1:35 in the vid you can briefly see me hover over my Energy bar and notice i recover Energy every 3 turns and i have 100+ Energy so it is not a problem for me, this is why i chose equipment which doesn't penalize my Energy and Energy Restoration too much, i have some Enchantments with Energy Restoration on my gear, and i made sure to have Vigor from sleeping in a good bed and eat the Honey Pancakes before the fight, also the Vigor and Pancakes help with not gaining Fatigue too, and i forgot about it in this fight but know that you could use Elven Mud too to Replenish a bit of Energy sometime and get more Energy Restoration this way. Lastly some of the other temporary things like the Warcry used not only buffs my damage with Battle Rage but also debuffs the Manticore with Weakness so it does less damage to me. And me having the 100% Morale and Sanity also helped me get the temporary Heroism mental state during the fight, which again is more damage for my attacks vs Manticore and less damage from Manticore attacks vs me. Also before the fight i made sure to have very high Immunity of 122% which helped to lower the Intoxication i can get from Poison damage that the Manticore does, because i don't want to reach the temporary Intoxication debuffs threshold and have at least my Max HP lowered, or to possibly Stumble or even Vomit if i reach some of the higher Intoxication thresholds. So i hope i didn't forget anything and that this helps you in some way beat the Manticore.
