Here we are in Stonewood for one last AFK endurance build.
This build has no trap suggestions or perk requirements. It simply asks that you use at least lv 25 (pl 69) legendary traps; and that you include 1 crowd control type feature in each tile within the tunnel. Outside of those things, you have full control.

Great video! Nice idea to show the people pathing and blockoff and then they can do their own stuff with traps. They dont need to have any special traps or ask someone to craft em if they have own legendary copies. (I think if you have high dmg stats and durability it also would work with blue/epic trap schematics but im not 100% sure ^^)

@@blitzlegends1583 plank i have a few posted. The grounded one i posted is the closest to the choose your own traps type deal. Twine i have builds but i keep em hidden. Ppl have very skewed expectations due to previous glitches or workarounds ppl have found but ultimately it needs more babysitting than ppl want so i tend to avoid it. I currently use a modified floating build like the one i have posted in yt for anything twine base related now as it is pretty versatile, can handle war game and still go a good distance afk without me paying much attention but its def not for everyone.

Thank you so much for this build! Its working great. The only thing I'm having issues with is the mist rammers destroying walls and traps. Any ideas how to stop this?

The pathing should make it so they don’t do that too much and the stuff they do hit should be expendable. Potentially there could be missing traps or a different flex amp but im just taking shots in the dark. I am on discord and if you have pics of the problem areas i can definitely give better answers after seeing things.

They are edited floors. I use those instead of cones for my block off. Easy to see everything and looks clean :)

Do you have any tips for me since my Amp D is directly South of your Amp A rather than being South East? I noticed that your Amp A defences are completely covering where my Amp D is.. I'm confused.

the amp letters don't always match for everyone so A can differ, but I do have a floating build for the amp i think you are referring to and i would suggest checking that out and using that as the starting point for that amp and the cross spawn that you will have with either B or C depending on the order you placed your amps in. as well you won't have the south spawn for A in this build as D kinda takes that spot, but D will get hit from the three other directions

@@TakuSkellaku yeah thats what I suspected. That means the c spawn south will be a cross spawn and that build will half break due to it. Using ceilings as your main attack is the easiest way for that and the floating build will show ya how i got it done. Its the same set up you have. Everything else can be same as this if thats what you prefer. Good thing is Stonewood has lots of flex room so you have options

Lol. Yeah. This will probably even be overkill in many places if everything is maxed like that, to what degree just depends on your trap durability is at but regardless of what it is you will def be good

I have older ones that probably need some tweaking that i just reopened up but my style in twine starts to show its flaws because i dont use multiple schematics and try to simplify damage. That being said itll go far afk and with a little fight you could beat it if it was just to get the banner but there are others who you can also try. I find the best twines incorporate and few different ppls ideas. Vocaloid nyan (kirby) is an old school legend and his build have held up over the years very well. Mitch robbs is my buddy and his builds mostly work again too Nacho sp is any great twine damage build. Whitestreamz and chedic are also good. But yoy will notice none of them take the simple approach i try. But the effort can be rewarding if you run endurance regularly.

The other side of the coin is geyser builds. Shadow gnome. Fireburn. Ale on twitch. Whitewalker these are all ppl who have mastered the unique twine landscape and worked around the cc when it was in and make twine look stupid due to how little builds they use. But its kinda gimmicky and those strategies dont really work anywhere else lol. But still cool to see and you can learn a lot and it reinforces a lot of the stuff i have tried to teach and show about the game too

You would have to attempt to build using the strategies i did for the others. A friend of mine also has a different one and in the short term opted to build mr quickshots build for the flex amp he had

No this only is one of the three layouts you can have in stonewood. D amp has two other positions that this doesn’t take into consideration but there are many comments to this vid that help address some of the ways to go about it.

Normal endurance usually good to have 120k on hand. Being Stonewood as less spawns to deal with This will be much lower i guess between 80-100k but it could even be less

Hi, most of the defenses worked great, however the build placed between the south and east side of amp A are being broken and husks are walking along the roof from the south. A problem with mine in particular is that I have the quarry amp for my amp D, and when it gets attacked from the east, husks break amp A's defenses. Do you have any solutions for these?

The quickest solution would be to float it and take out the stuff that breaks. (Basically use ceilings there). If you did that, and it makes them want to go up the ramp going up the the amp that i usually have blocked due to how much gets removed, id open up that side and damage them on the way up there.

@@cybrpunk for the d amp if you have the middle area i did a floating Stonewood that has that. Use that for pathing etc and shows how to do it without floors or walls. But add floor and walls lol. A amp can be different depending on what one was placed but there are a few spot on the map that if you put roofs wrong they can get on them. If there is a higher elevation some roof tiles may need to be two high or not be placed at all. Not showing the roofing has some limitations lol but hopefully i can post my fully trapped build to show those spots better.

The upgrading will depend a lot on your stats. Building health, trap dura, tech score etc. as well as what traps you use. But there are definitely ways to have this all tier 1 wood and still work, but for normal use and to ensure it works for everyone i say spend the time and resources to upgrade it all the way. Tornado is weak lol this build will definitely handle it effectively

I have that amp posted with my floating Stonewood which will show one of the quickest and easiest (not cheap tho) ways to set that up so you don’t have to worry about tornado hotspot etc

I wish i could do the glass thing still. Or we get glass as a building material but this is all just tier 3 metal. Some floors are edited into half floors for block off and pathing but no parlour tricks here lol

If its the middle flex amp my floating Stonewood has that one and can help show the pathing but if you build and see what i did for the main four amps the flex will be pretty easy to set up. The only thing is tornado will wipe out ceilings and floors within 5 tiles of the amp so i usually avoid doin that on the flex amp but you can still use walls in that zone, otherwise working with the terrain and using their pathing is all i really do

@@thisweirdvenom that sounds like the quarry one, so it will be different but the same principles do apply. They do like that middle ramp path (I normally try and block that and then its the two main paths of either side of that. Watch for cliff spawns. The main traps to easily pass would be drops darts and the basic floor spikes.

There is no trap perks, its a customizable build to the traps you have or can get access to. The main piece would be each tile needs some form of crowd control ie. lights, launcher, freeze, floor spikes, tar pit, drop trap etc. otherwise as long as the traps are 77 + pl you have the 6th perk active and any combo of trap should do well. If someone is really low pl or stats they can add spawn or build a little extra towards the amp but for the most part that shouldn’t be needed. I do have a completed example in my Phoenix build i posted but most of my traps are dbl reload. I would say use perks that match what you need stats wise and if you can be flexible. More dura towards spawn and reload / dmg towards the amp.

Pl isnt as important as tech score and trap durability for endurance. That being said any combination of trap will work on this build as long as you have that one stall per tile condition. My favourite traps are the floor spikes with heals. Dart and zappers, although cefs are really fun on this build too.

@@xLgm the only amp different will be d amp. Its the flex amp in Stonewood. If you use the same concepts as the others it is fairly easy to build but either of the other two will get hit from the three sides. I have the middle one shown in my floating Stonewood for spawn and pathing, but if you found a build for the amp you have and it looks good i always recommend playing with a combination of builds. The more teachers and and techniques you can learn, the better your game can be.

I try to make it so they aren’t as important but yes perks really can make a big difference in how a trap works and functions. But i find with traps its less about the trap and more about your own levels. With Low dura and low tech. You want crit builds and durability builds on your traps and have a good amount along a chosen path. As you level up you can add reload and drop durability for more quick damage and at the same time greatly reduce the number of traps you need. Also paying attention to the 6th perk. Heals is great where its needed otherwise dura works. And you can reinforce target blockoff adding increased health but otherwise its not overly needed. Outside that semi criteria trap are highly flexible in how they are perked. Especially the higher in pl , tech and durability you go

Its fluctuated a bit, but currently you get 161200 and it caps at around 1.1mil a day total.

The shields spawn behind the defences and the only paths to them are through the tunnels and traps

How do you protect yourself when you're AFK? Don't you fail if you die? Do the shields spawn in the same spot every time? I'm still working through my build section by section, but I will let you know that husklings are jumping over my blocked off areas and getting to those shields EVERY TIME. lol It's the only time they do that. It's hard to figure out what's happening with all the chaos. They just show up what seems like out of nowhere.

@@cybrpunk when afk i have spots around the map i have set up for me to sit and then one like 8 tiles high husks wont come too. The little husks chase you if you are close by. So standing around tunnels is usually really bad depending on the wave. If im watching i stand back by the amp on a perch or use neon sniper to see around. Or i stand behind spawn. If you die everything continues as normal. But good afk spot you wont die.

@@cybrpunk also those sheild dont do much. They just keep you out of the storm. But you definitely dont want them breaking things either to get to them. With the cross spawn the floating aspect is a great way to start with a few good dart placements to clean up any mess the ceilings may miss

I cover what i can a bit more in the follow up vid to this where it is trapped out. I have the centre amp posted already in my floating Stonewood build which is kinda what i suggest as an easy solution to quarry as well. That being said i recently have an acct i have access to that is pretty much it pl 11 with no trap dura and has that amp and we just built it afk for him so I’ll probably be able to show that off in the next little bit. But the floating design is essentially what we did with a few wall traps in places. He even picked traps I wouldn’t have and i used perks he shouldn’t have and it still works so itll be worth posting to show

Is this built for low trap durability? I have 132 with my survivors because I'm new and I have harper too. Do you think I should try build this one or the floating one?

You should be able to pull this off with 132 trap dura. At the very worst a row or two of “spawn” trap where the entrance spots are at but i doubt that would be needed

@@AlchemistLion Btw for the ceilings am I supposed to build over the spawns? Or should I just build over the areas where floor traps would be placed? I'm thinking for the most part of using Ceiling electrical fields with the exception of gas or zappers in 1/1 zones and tires over slopes.

@@user-lh7mt7zo7l he knows his stuff pretty well so you wont be lead completely wrong using them but that being said i do suggest playing with trap perks once you can because as much as they are important, there is play room to them. Some of the ways he has a few traps perked out id probably alter for universal use but thats the great thing about this game there are lots of ways to play. The dynamo for example is way better with a reload in it because in normal missions 12 seconds is a long time to wait for an activation. But i have used the crit build in the past for a specific use.

@@ethanmc0076 i am not aware of the exact amount but a normal endurance is about 120k mats (2k structures) with room for about 1000 traps. This being Stonewood tho you will be using way less. I would say maybe around 80-100k mats. But thats a guess. A very guessy guess

There is a three hour time out that some people aren’t aware of. If i dont start the mission when i first go in ill usually only run a wave end it and then re go into the storm shield to start a full run to avoid the unwritten timeout
