My journey to Stoos, a picturesque village located in central Switzerland, in the canton of Schwyz, began with an extraordinary ride on the world's steepest funicular, the Stoosbahn, which in just a few minutes took me to an elevation of 1,300 meters above sea level. The funicular, with a maximum gradient of 110%, equivalent to about 47.7 degrees, provided thrilling experiences right from the start. During the ride, I admired the stunning views of the valley and surrounding mountains, which set the mood for the adventure ahead. Upon reaching the summit, I embarked on a hike along the Klingenstock - Fronalpstock trail, considered one of the most beautiful in Switzerland. The trail followed a mountain ridge, offering panoramic views of ten lakes and the majestic Alps. Every step revealed new, breathtaking vistas that will remain in my memory for a long time. After about two hours, I reached the summit of Fronalpstock, where I could once again enjoy the entire route from a viewing terrace. Tired but filled with awe, I took the funicular back to Stoos, ending a day full of unforgettable experiences. It was the perfect combination of technical modernity and natural beauty, in the heart of Switzerland, near Lake Lucerne.
