For anyone wondering, there were 26 allies attack during Robin's first ult and 20 during the second one. Given she does around 10k damage each time a ally attack (9676 on non-weak physical enemies, 12095 on weak enemies), she did very roughly 260k during her first ultimate and 200k during her second one.
@@arcy4295 Not if you lack cones or eidolons, she's one less mostly consistent debuff on the team and makes breaking harder which is also another potential debuff eliminated. With a full E0S0 FUA team and a Robin, you will only have 3 debuffs, 1 of which is tied to Ratio's skill and another on Aventurine's Ult only. Topaz' Debt counts as a debuff and is reliable from turn 1 usually so that one's secure as long as it starts on the right target. But that still leaves Ratio grasping at straws for his Skill FUA's proc chance. Topaz E1 or S1 already alleviates it a lot, or Aventurine's cone, which are all very easy to proc and eliminate worries for additional debuffs, since Ratio only needs 3 to function properly and just gets another +10% dmg dealt against a target for the 2 additional debuffs up to 5, so max of 50% which is still ideal to try and max out. The attack and Dmg Dealt buffs Robin provides definitely make up for what they're lacking otherwise especially when you get their cones, but I'd argue Ruan Mei will still be the better pick for on-element (Img and/or Fire weak) content and Robin for off-element. So TL;DR Robin better but more expensive in off-element content, Ruan Mei better and more f2p friendly in on-element content. I believe that's also why Robin's Eidolon has now been made to be the 24% teamwide res pen during ult to fit the same niche as Ruan Mei even for Img/Fire weak enemies. The only thing Ruan Mei does better than an E1 Robin is bringing faster breaks and more debuffs at that point and even that is not going to make up for the loss of a teamwide +1000 attack buff and bonus damage on every hit. So if you're heavily investing in each FUA unit, Robin is the unit you want. If you just want base levels of each and can't afford eidolons or cones you should go for Ruan Mei.
Holy hell the last part when robin was the last in the cycle and you got back her ult just in time for her to advance forward everyone was crazy. The sheer amount of follow ups with just these 3 characters i can’t believe that was only 2 cycle

Even if she doesn't directly benefit your account now, she will in the future, as there will be plenty of new follow up characters that will be released in the future, some of which will have designs that interest you as well.
If you’re interested in Screwllum or Jade they’re both FuA units. Screwllum is essentially Acheron but FuA (applies an effect on the enemy when allies apply debuffs, and when attacking said enemy launch a Blast FuA), and Jade is the AoE version of Topaz.
Wait when are those said characters coming out? ( we all know leaking is bad but i want to fully prepare for them so i can avoid my sparkles ruan mei situation)…plus thank you all for the tips i would definitely put them in mind and might also consider dr ratio with that info
@@Cptwinter Well we can't be too sure when they're coming out, but the list of upcoming characters are: Sam, Sunday, Screwllum (during the SU update probably), Jade, Jiaoqiu, Feixiao, Moze and Stephen. Penacony's story arc should be in 2.2, so we should get Sam in 2.3 after the main story ends. Since we had Swarm Disaster in 1.3, it's likely we're also getting the SU update in 2.3, suggesting Screwllum's banner. By 2.4 since we're done with the Penacony arc, we should go to the Xianzhou Yaoqing to continue the story (which is why we have upcoming Chinese-named characters), by then the banner patter might be Xianzhou Character + Penacony (or Jade/Stepehen) type of banners. Jiaoqiu and Jade are suspected to be in 2.4. Although, please know this is complete speculation so there's a big chance all I'm saying could be completely false. If you want to check all the likely upcoming characters and the info we have on them, in the HonkaiStarRail_leaks subreddit, go on the mega thread and scroll until you see the pinned the comment. At the end of the Faq, there should be something called Rentry and you can check all upcoming characters on there.
@@lyooo nah you cooked so hard i got teared up a lil…but yeah the math checks out…2.0 we got spark/black swan 2.1 is acheron and adventurine and 2.2 would be boothil and robin ( considering they got market dripped for us ) 2.3 i would bet ( no pun intended ) on either sam/screwllum or sam and one of the annihilation gang appears then 2.4 would be definitely the Chinese festival event and we’re going back to the xianxoue…anyway am putting a goal in mind 100% for jade and screwllum
so weird to see a character only using basic ability and ult than never appear again after some turns and when she appear, use basic ability and ult again and gone XD truly a support, singing to power up (idk what she does) their teammates, nothing more nothing less
@@funghoul693 TLDR - Robin is better with fua teams. She has a trace that increase FUA crit damage by 25% and her ulti hits enemy every time they get damaged by an attack from ally. That includes follow up attacks. Someone from a higher comment counted. Robin did bonus damage around 20 times. Which resulted in 200k bonus damage per ult cast or something. But the thing with her is that she ideally needs her team to do lots of attacks while her ulti is active. Thus Ratio, Topaz and Aventurine her best team as of now. RM is not much worse, but better for DoT teams and non sparkle/bronya kind of teams. I can't say for sure as of now, but for non dot/fua team Robin probably will be slightly worse than RM. Until E1. Then they probably will be equal. I also don't know what her signature is, so maybe it evens them out too.
Y’know for a while the only thing holding topaz back from being as renounce as Kafka was that the characters that would release to support her would only increase her attack frequency and not power. But I think that won’t be a problem for some time considering this team(I plan to obtain this team)
the thing abt topaz is shes definitely built to be a damage amplifier for all fua units before or after her release. even if her damage power doesnt increase by a huge margin and only her attack frequency, that 50% fua damage increase is pretty valuable for fua team damage. thats why topaz and ratio are currently one of the best or most popular dual dps comp in the game
@@SashyyKane not every fua unit. jing yuan for example really wants tingyun and sparkle to consistently full stack LL, which is more important than topaz's buffs

Honestly either E1 or s1 topaz on it's own is enough or S1 aventurine, both make ratio super consistent I just have S1 Aventurine E0S0 Topaz and Ratio with Pela or Asta as support works very weel even with just Asta since even if you argue for Aventurine's ult debuff counting, Ratio normally just focuses one enemy anyways so you can keep 3 debuffs pretty consistently on boss enemies which is what Ratio excels at, one debuff from Aventurine ult, Topaz Proof of Debt, plus either Topaz E1, S1, or Aventurine S1 works to keep Dr Ratio follow up at 100%
If I had Topaz I would have summoned for Robin, however I have TY and Bronya which are good with Ratio and JY so I'm gonna go for Sam because I like them

Robin is great and all with FUA synergy but I'd rather get a Harmony character that actually does a FUA. The additional dmg by Robin unfortunately does not count as FUA which is holding me back from pulling for her. Good luck to all those pulling for her.

I need to decide between her and boothill. I have that exact team well built and do plan to have a follow up team. Boothill being hunt doesn't bold well for me and i need firefly.
I own Dr Ratio and Adventurine and am wondering who to pull in the next banner, Robin or Topaz? Since you've experienced both of them, who should I focus on pulling? Topaz has a semi buff to allies via FuA buff/debuff and she can proc Adventurine's FuA stacking. however Robin has a big buff to allies and 100% advanced forward, but she doesn't really do FuA, she just buffs. Both however, has sub dps, Topaz being Hunt while Robin has her Ult extra dmg. Can you tell me more that I left out? Who should I get?
E0S0 Robin works in every team, not just FuA. E0S0 Topaz meanwhile, is at best a side grade, or even worse for some FuA teams compared to their hypercarry counterpart. So unless you're willing to get S1 for Topaz too, just get Robin.

I made a team with dr ratio clara march and hanya It works well with many follow up attack but not enough shield I'll probably switch hanya ir March for adventurine since i just got him And in simulated universe there's a blessing that gives you sp for follow up attacks 😁
How do you feel about a Slow Robin with 2p Vonwacq to advance her forward? Is it worth it to ignore 134 SPD so you can focus on her offensive stat? Since Robin's allies outpace her, they'd also get more turns benefiting from her buff.
she more likely than not just gets her ult before 2nd turn so you dont even need to turn twice in cycle 0 really, but i do recommend just getting 2p vonwacq at 120spd, bcs it does give her 2 turn in cycle 0 if you need it for whatever reason
Just know it is possible to reach 134 speed on ATK boots and you don’t even need 134 speed to get 2 turns in the first cycle. You can find out by solving this inequation: We need the sum of Robin’s advanced turn action value and her base action value to be inferior or equal to 150 (one cycle) so: RobinAV - RobinAV * (0.25) + RobinAV

I need some advice, I currently have Ratio+Aventurine+Ruan Mei. I was planning to pull for Robin or Topaz(I'm really just guessing she reruns next patch since almost every previous limited 5-star has been rerun), but I like Boothill's design so much! I am also anticipating Sunday. My current resources would probably only guarantee hard pity for 1 character, so should I go for Robin or Topaz(if she comes out) next patch?
if you dont have any signature on ratio/topaz/aventurine the team literally does not work bcs theres not enough debuffs for ratio also i actually ran another team which was just replacing topaz with pela and it cleared the same time as the topaz versions

@@localdrugseller6431 Jade seems to want to be played with AoE characters and doesn't work too with with Single target ones. I think their idea is to have two follow-up teams depending on the enemies. Ratio/Topaz/Robin/Aventurine and Screwllum(?)/Jade/Robin/Aventurine.
What units could be slotted here instead of Topaz? Does not have to be as good, but I would like to have a backup plan in case I Robin pulls will go bad and I won't be able to get Topaz.
Pela or SW can fill her slot with similar performance due to how they allows Ratio to get more damage bonus from hitting debuffed enemies (Unless Topaz is e1s1)

@@shidoka4190 yep I thought so too, she could get atked which gives stacks tho and if I were to choose I'd just still choose the phys set and put her by Avent Altho there have been leak abt new sets for Robin and Boothill
Hey o/ Thank you for all your videos, it's so great to see Robin. I can't wait to pull and play her ! Could you try Robin with Asta btw ? I can imagine Asta buffing atk% so Robin will hit harder and buff harder, and another great point : Asta can ult after every ally did played after Robin's ult, so her speed buff will have the best value. (cause it cover full 2 allies turn) And the speed buff may result into more allies turns, then more Robin's damages and energy regeneration.
