This video shows you how to use a dermaroller also called micro-needling on your scalp. It gives proper technique as well as how to prepare your scalp before micro-needling and what to do after. There is also footage showing the results after 2 and 3 months of micro-needling.
Steps: 1X week:
1. Clean scalp using ACV solution
2. Apply 2% BHA liquid and wait 10 minutes before rinsing
3. Derma roll with 0.5 mm using method described in video
4. Apply Hairmetto topical saw palmetto oil (black bottle)
5. Leave on overnight and wash out with natural shampoo the next day
Other 6 days of week:
Use Hairmetto daily serum (white bottle)
Note: if still feels a bit sensitive do not use the very next day after derma rolling

Hey Scott, Was wondering how your progress has been since starting this treatment? Also, about how many times per week or day do you use the dermaroller? Not sure what the frequency of usage should be... Thanks, Tamir

Hi Tamir, if you just go ahead and click on my channel icon right beside my name scott nali then it will load all the videos including the 9 month and 1 year progress videos. Also on this video at the 6:05 mark I mention that I do the derma roller once a week and then go on to describe what I do daily. Hope that helps!

i am using the Hairmetto to help with DHT and the derma roller to help with circulation and delivery of the Hairmetto into the skin. So I believe the derma roller would help a bit, specifically circulation but not with DHT.

My only suggestion to people is don't leave thinning hair untreated if it bothers you, the sooner you start the better chances you have, once I slowly started to see the thinning of my hair I applied derma roller and some kind of hair loss serum that I bought at my local drug store which was recommended to me and it worked wonders, now hair is even more thicker than it used to be, just don't wait it get it worse and do something about it, that's my only suggestion.

I’m not balding, but since I am in my 60’s looks like hair growing kinda slowed down, when I was younger it just grew, no worries. I guess everything slows down eventually. I have to say, the before and after photos are really inspiring. My wife told me that she loves me no matter what happens to my hair, but I’m going to give this a shot (along with saw palmetto pills, Rogaine, Nizoral, and RU58841). Hi, Your videos are quite educating and I wish to compliment you on this. I used your method as a starting point some 2 weeks ago since I was using a micro-needling pen for quite a while before. During these two weeks, I progressed a lot as I understood more in terms of moisture (humidity) and oiliness of the affected scalp area which are determining facts in hair restoration. Also about the oils you`ve chosen to work with, which according to my intuition are not formulated to work the way you apply them. Also, the producer would not know to formulate them in order to work with the micro needling roller you use. So, thanking you for your videos, I would advise you to postpone the application of the oil till no sooner than 12hours (since you do the oil treatment daily and you would not wish to stop doing this, meaning to stop the application of the topical oil the day you do micro-needling, which would be ideal). That would bring you more positive results on hair growth as the balance of the moisture/oiliness of the scalp would be better protected (I suffer from multiple possible causing a much slower, but more resistant to treatments form of alopecia: 1986 radioactive rain, 1988 hot water scalp burn with massive hair loss in about 1 to 2 weeks after - but it came back after some time, when I reached 25y having the Jean M. Jarre type of curled long hair up to 35y -, an unbalanced scalp - oily even after washing with dedicated shampoos -, an inflammatory process from a severe hyper-viral disease, cured now but with genetic and immune modifications as the antibodies that exist in the body may act in a similar way with the DHT arrest of the hair follicle`s nutrition - and probable androgenic alopecia but with no inheritance from ancestors, just from personal hormonal causes). I also formulated an oil (for the above causes) that would make possible to be applied in the morning after washing and to remain less noticeable (as if would be a foam that is 80% absorbed in the skin) and would seem like watery perspiration of the scalp during 24hours till the next washing time. I think this would have a powerful regenerating property for my hair and it is formulated to be beneficial with micro-needling. That`s why I deduced that in your case (you, micro needling and the oils compatible for your use) there is something not going as best as should be, and this is the timeframe in the relation: micro needling + oil application). Yours, John

@jaycool9480 3 года назад
I hear, that .25 microneedling is good for allowing topical growth oils for penetrating the scalp and cal be used every other day or every 2 days depending on if you can stand the pain, but .50 dermaroller is good for triggering better hair regrowth because it reaches the dermis where the bottom of the follicle sit but only needs to be used at best once a week or once every 3 weeks. Need to wait a couple of hours when using a .50 or longer needle. What length needle do you use? I just started using the natural hair growth oils last tuesday, and I started using the dermaroller (.25) on saturday, today is my 2nd time using the .25 along with the growth oils. I have another oil I use for after microneedling. Its been day 6 days (progress) since using the oils. Im not full george Jefferson but I have a crooked hairline and the crown is thin. They say for better results, using a long (.5 to 1mm) dermaroller once every 1-3 weeks and short (under .50) dermaroller. When I use the .25 dermaroller, I wait a cpl of minutes before putting the oils on my scalp. Which dermaroller is better useful (to reach the dermis) to use once every 1-3 weeks? A .50 to 1mm

I am starting this exact routine (plus minoxidil) today! I will edit this post in 6-8 months with my results. Please upvote so all can see! EDIT: 9-month update. I have been dermarolling once a week and using minoxidil twice a day for 9 months. I also started taking 1mg finasteride once a day around 1 month ago. I am very fortunate to report significant hair regrowth with no side effects (thus far). I will update again in another 6 months. Just a side note: everybody (myself included) seems to overwhelmingly focus on potential negative side effects, but neglects the massive boost of confidence that comes from successful hair regrowth. Don’t let fear cloud your decision-making.

Derrick from the “More plates more dates” RU-vid channel uses a tool similar to a tattooing needle and said he got better results using it compared to the roller because with his tool the needle goes straight in and out of the scalp whereas the roller goes in/out at an angle. Also his scalp was bright red with light bleeding showing immediately after the procedure but the results he obtained from the method was very very good. Im not bald “yet” but I’m 42 years old and starting to notice signs of thinning along the front and accidentally came across these alternative methods to hair transplants on RU-vid. The results are definitely apparent from this video as well as others so thank you for the info!

Did he use a derma stamp? I just got one (for beard growth) and you can adjust it all the way to 3mm 😬 however, it is FAR less painful than the roller. Literally just used it so I can’t comment as to its efficacy.
@69nites
@69nites Год назад
@@waveexistence3512 he uses the derminator 2. It's an electric device with adjustable depth similar to what is used in a clinic. The benefit of it over the stamp style is time savings.

@waveexistence3512 Год назад
@@69nites thank you for the reply. I've noticed fairly decent growth over the past several months but i’d imagine it would be more if I had been using the derminator 2 because I'll get lazy with manually stamping over and over.

@@waveexistence3512 yeah, to me it was worth it. I can get what would take me 15-20 minutes done in 2 minutes. The time it saves in my life is well worth the investment.
