Good recommendations . Speaking from Ontario , I would say pay extra and have the seller provide the safety check . Also the shop I deal with has warned me that the MTO has been cracking down . He can now longer pass an inspection if the tires size does not match the sticker inside the door . In other words ,if you purchase a tricked out jeep with great big tires it will not pass a safety . I just traded in a almost new pickup truck , before the dealer would take it in trade I had to remove the lift kit and put stock tires back on it .Thanks
You are not the first one to mention about the trade in issues. I honestly didn't know if the other person was telling the truth or not. They were told when talking to a dealer about a trade in that ALL customization that was on it had to be removed UNLESS they were a dealer / company authorized upgrade. This included tires and rims which did not meet the specifications, lift kit, custom bumpers as well as some electronics that they had put in. They actually decided to sell privately instead of trading it in as it would have been such a hassle to do so. Out here in Alberta they do not push that. Or at least not that I have heard. 99.999% of the trucks wouldn't be able to be traded in here because they all got lift kits on them 😂😂😂
Yes I had to remove all modifications as well . Modifications void your warranty ,plus they can not safety or warranty a modified vehicle . @@whiteturtleadventuresandphoto
