STOP BEING LAZY IN 2023 | New Years Resolutions 

My New Years resolution is to become more like Jesus 🕊🙏🏻 “He must increase, I must decrease.” -John 3:30 ❤️

Some of my main goals for 2023 1. Have a stronger relationship with God. Living in true repentance and obedience 2. Being more intentional with taking care of my body and health 3. Purchase a home for myself 4. Help the needy more and do mission work 5. Travel 6. Allow God to prepare me to receive my husband And last but not least, fulfill my purpose that God planned for me in my mothers womb!

Three of my New Year resolutions are: • Strengthening my new found faith in God, growing my relationship with him and filling myself with his spirit. • Focus on myself, I want to learn about the person I am today, what I want and where I’m going. • Sobriety, sobriety from my alcohol dependency, sobriety from my depression, sobriety from all the negative emotions I deal with on a daily basis. Give help to the people in my AA group like it was given to me one day. 💛 With God’s help I know I will be able to achieve these three things and WAY more! Blessings to everyone in the comments!

What’s helped me A LOT is watching “the Bible project” video summaries before reading the actual book. And also, if there’s ever anything that doesn’t make sense to research it and how it applies to todays world. I know that’s really just like common sense but it’s really changed how I read the Old Testament! God bless you 🌻🙏 you got this!

1 hour of prayer?!? I don't even think God expects that of us. I'm a woman of God and I have a goal to spend 1 hour every morning in prayer, scripture study, journaling, and meditation, which has been very doable and is my favorite part of the day but I can't imagine spending 1 whole hour just praying.

Keto diets are known to cause increased cardiac events (Coronary vessel blocks) even years after a Keto period. There is a lot of research trails from American Heart association. Just want you to be safe

What are some books you recommend?

I read parts of the Old Testament that made me angry at God, but I knew He was real so I knew I couldn’t walk away just bc I didn’t like the message. So I just prayed and told God “God, respectfully, how could you do this? Or how could you allow this? Or how could you support this?” When I gave it to God and cried out my anger or disappointment He would eventually give me an answer, maybe right away maybe a week later etc. but sometimes He would just give me peace and comfort, even without full understanding of the reasons why. One thing was the patriarchs having many wives. But the Lord showed me that this was never His design, His design is one man and one woman, yet He loved the patriarchs even through their sins. God is so very good and He loves us all so much. Give Him all your challenging questions.

Read according to where the Spirit guides you, not routinely. Pray and praise as lead ,not routinely. People will come and boast about how they’ve read the Bible 3xs or several times in a yr, but their speech, and attitude prove that the heart condition is still present. The Lord had me in Genesis over 20xs in the same month and I was dragging all the way there… bc I was like “I already read that” n it was revealed that there is always something new to learn, be warned of, get right, be encouraged, comforted, etc. There is no other Word filled book covered in cloth, hard bound or leathered that can do that. God overthrew cosplay, sfx, anime, manga, etc within my lifestyle. He also overthrew my job as an mua bc modesty wasn’t present and nobody could see HIM. I was overweight at the time. 168 standing at 5ft - you know that doesn’t always look right, plus I’ve had 7 kids. I am now 107 with good management. Including God even in that area of my life. You are right that if mom isn’t right, the household isn’t right, but that doesn’t mean I’m allowed to be a bad steward. God does not teach us to self love, but be selfless. Be less of self and care for others more than ourselves. To each their own, concerning keto. God made all things clean, and of course we can’t forget to thank Him in all things, but I lost 17ibs in a yr on that diet and it was not worth it. Low carb, self control, and prayer/praise fasting where the way to go for me. We are to take our minds captive sister. Each of you were made new in Christ Jesus when you heard the Gospel and received it, professed, confessed Jesus Christ as Lord, repented of your sins with your mouth openly, and where completely immersed in water-dying to your old self bc you had a clear conscious towards God. A new you is already present if so. You are given Gods mercies and kindness each day in order to start fresh. A new year dictates nothing. Those who have an ear let them hear. In Jesus name, Amen. 2 Cor. 5:17 1 Cor.10:13 1 Cor.6:12-20 2 Tim. 1:7 John 14:26 Romans 8:26.

I have been plant-based vegan since 2014 and have had healing of minor and chronic illness, as well as better mental + spiritual clarity. Think about the Daniel diet and how it could positively affect you too 😊
