Stop getting too emotional on landscaping jobs and dealing with lawn care customers. When you are overly emotionally attached, it reduces the quality of your performance and great.Customer service issues that never should have even existed. You are co, creating everything that happens in your business and it's a mirror image of what's going on inside of you. When you create healthy boundaries and stop being desperate For money, then your whole business starts to become more abundant.

What’s up Keith, my name is Christian and I’m 18 years old. I started a landscaping company about two years ago and wasn’t getting much clients but little by little I’m correcting my mistakes. I’m now charging the correct amount per job, I’m also going door to door most days of the week after school. I’m starting to advertise as well now I’m landing more and more properties each week. Thank you for posting these videos, and always keeping it real 🙏🏽☝🏽

Don't stop Christian, a tip for you, young man, whatever the materials cost, double that, and triple your labor.

@Chris_43552 you're welcome, always pocket the profit from $100 mulch by charging $200, then $300 per yard install.

Charge at least $435 a yard. Plus labor.

I understand this 100% I have done this with some French drain installs. Hard lessons. They’ll get a lot of free work just by saying “hey could you just do this or do that”

We have some clients that we’ve had since the beginning that we will do most anything for because we never don’t get a Christmas card from them, large tips, lunch, cold water, referrals and most of all UNDERSTANDING that we’re a business.

I am not emotionally attached to customers but I am starting to get to the point where if a customer starts taking the piss I get ride of them especially when they have lots of money.

Exactly why I keep contracts to protect me from that… “Yeah sorry mr/Mrs jones that was not involved in the contract, if you want a change order I can get it done for you!”

I had an old lady I worked for one season . She was nice and particular and asked for a senior discount. I responded with I want to retire someday also.

I run a beekeeping business and 9/10 people that call for bee removals have a long sad story. My aunt has no money, shes a cancer survivor, she just broke her big toe.... Can you come work your ass off for a day for free? Lol
