This really captures what I've found so fun about 3D printing - you can measure some thing in your house, design something to match it perfectly, have a prototype done in 20 minutes, and then print the real thing in high quality and it's a perfect fit the first time. You have something that fits your needs perfectly, AND you got to make it!
No way! Anker's got their 3D printer on a killer discount for Amazon Prime Day? That's awesome! Gonna snag one and start printing out some wicked cool stuff!
I can't help but wonder about the endless possibilities that 3D printing unlocks for industries like manufacturing, healthcare, aerospace, and even education.
Great vid. I like your works. This printer seem a bit loud I think. :D I saw your Macbook. Do you use that for slicing and modelling in Fusion360? I was thinking of buying one for Lychee, but I'm not sure to how can handle it that machine.
Thanks! The MacBook Air I have is a 2017 I think, it’s a little slow for slicing but It’s good enough. I think the m1 and m2 MacBooks would work great for slicing tho!
I LOVE your octolapses and I’ve put some together myself! I’m just struggling on the camera quality and How to get the best lighting. Where do you have your prints while you have the octolapses happening? Does the sun not affect their lighting?
love your vids not sure I like sponsored ads I get why you did it though. Probably do the same in your shoes All the best PS I really like your bird feeder
All of these new slicers are boasting unrealistic speeds. Bambu is the worst with there slow down for overhangs. There is no way it’s traveling 2 and half that bed in one second with that speed. Have you measured actual vs input speeds?
Agreed. It really depends on the model being printed. The vertical pinwheel model definitely doesn’t have enough straight lines or infill to hit that mark. Either way the .25 mm layer height cuts down print time a lot.
Is this sponsored? It doesn't seem to clearly say but the language and hashtags seem to indicate it is. The fact this video doesn't acknowledge that the P1P exists indicates this as well. If so, It's not like I think anyone is going to hell over it but I really do feel the world is better when ads make it obvious they are ads.
I ripped half my bumper off the other day on my truck, and 3d printed 3 little parts and fixed it. Body shop quoted $300 for a new bumper, and $100 for labor. I fixed it for $0.48. 😎
Hi, I hope you're doing well. I'm reaching out to discuss the printable sprinkler. I appreciate the design and I'm interested in adapting it for my college project on irrigation. Could you please send me the file without the obj or the drafting? I'm encountering difficulties with the sprinkler body and would appreciate your assistance. Alternatively, if you could provide a tutorial, that would be incredibly helpful. Thank you in advance for your support!
