When purchasing a Firestick you own the hardware but Amazon own the software and if they do not want you to do something with their Firestick they will update the software which is exactly what they are starting to do. If you want no hassle move to Android box or similar

Doc, you act like clearing the cache is the killer of all things. It's good to clear cache on apps you hardly use to get more space and it doesn't take that much longer to load when you do clear it.

Hello Doc I have a question regarding the apps & processes app, when I have used the Amazon Prime app, I always exit from the app by continuing to hit the back button until it says are you sure you want to exit at which point I click yes. Is this the same as force stop? I have a feeling it isn't. And why can't I just go to the home screen without exiting? The Amazon Prime app never shows up in the apps/processes list I don't know why. It might be because I deleted the app icon not needing it because it's on the remote so I go to application management to force stop the app. is this the only way to force stop or how do I get it to show up in apps/processes? Installing the app wont' work it says I already have it. Thank you have a good day.
Good day sir. How come there are numerous internet sources like yours who say to their subscribers to clear cache at all times in order to give to their Fire stick more space? Why is it that you say not to clear cache and others say to do so?? I really like your videos. But this time, I'm confused. Please help me out. Thank you from Canada.
purchase an OTG cable and a usb drive if you don't already have one. make sure the OTG cable has a male AND female micro usb, along with the female USB A port.
Even more important with Tivimate than clearing the cache, is checking the size of the app in "Manage Installed Apps," which increases with each day you don't manually Clear the EPG. I make sure I do a manual EPG Clear once a week, then Update it. You'll be amazed how much space that puts back on your Fire device.
The only way to keep at least 1gb of space is by clearing cache especially Amazon apps that sometimes have very large cache even when not being used. Also if you the you use the K app you need to clear cache as it will crash when it is opened again. I usually clear all cache when they hit the Mb range.
I'm not updating my firesticks chris not after the last update and I lost the mouse toggle on two of my firesticks still got mouse toggle on two of my firesticks which I switch off at plug, (When Amazon says there's an update available) I say no no no)🤔
When you go to the firestick homepage it now automatically shows a full screen ad, so now you have to manually scroll down to show the apps = yet the latest dictatorial update that no-one wants from that A*azon outfit ! 👎👎
The problem is people just install to much shit , that they dont really need , thete see all these apps & think they need them all & most likely dont even us most of them 😂😔
I haven't updated for over a year (pretty much). Operating A1. Never had an issue. I don't have 1gb of space either. Stream lots of films. No probs there either.
Are you in some kind of conflict with tech doctor? You seem to advise the opposite of what he recommends. Also why are you saying now NOT to clear cache when for years you yourself advised us to do just that.
