I don’t mind dying to the AI because it’s a challenge, there’s just that issue with having a suppressed weapon at 400m+ taking out 1 guy and boom, the whole area knows exact location like c’mon now

I absolutely adore that gap for clearing out the first 10-15 ai. They just stack on the hole in the wall lol

Trying to crouch walk and sneak past AI is a dangerous game! All is well until you get that millimetre too close or make just a bit too much noise, then they instantly snap onto you and one tap you ☠️

My biggest downfall is I'm constantly willing to stand and trade with the AI, which doesn't end well some of the time. Really appreciate the Video, going to try and reset brain to stop being an arse and try these tactics. Have a great holiday

Also, remember the difference between cover and concealment. Drywall is not bulletproof. So you can still get shot through the wall. Happened to me a lot when I would shut doors and forget that wood is also, in fact, not bullet proof. And they will put a couple rounds where they last saw you.

I noticed when I started that the first burst return fire of AI is always the most accurate. so if you shoot at an ai then just wait near the corner for it to finish shooting as it enters its "cooldown"

Although these tips prove very useful The devs have already acknowledged that the AI/NPCs behave very irregular and unrealistic in certain conditions and ranges. Most commonly is that some AI are bullet sponges that can one tap you into a coma with a shot in the arm or leg or others wont react til youre face to face or even some can detect you 100+ meters away But one thing for sure that i just self taught is the funneling method because as much as they are broken, theyre still not "smart" enough to see the bodies piling up in the corner im camping in to clear an area

The best solution for leaning I found was mapping the functions to my additional mouse buttons. That thumb isn’t doing anything anyways, so I don’t have to double up on certain responsibilities for certain fingers. It also allows me to think about leaning while I’m aiming and shooting. I’d like to use my lefthand for movements, inventory, and other functions. I’ll just dedicate my right hand to all aiming firing and leaning mechanics.

Just an FYI. Professionally, doorways and hallways are often referred to as "fatal funnels." You're pretty much using real-life tactics. In real life, people don't sometimes become bulletproof occasionally.

I use this tactic in Midnight Saphire - I get to the staircase leading up to the hotel. From there, they come from up and down directly. Also, the upper part is all bulletproof glass - so you can see them and plan accordingly. Defeated a push of twenty using this and the good grenades.

I have 2 side buttons on my mouse and I use those for lean. That way I can lean left or right while moving left or right. Feels really natural and intuitive to me.

I never thought about switching Q and E, i am going to try that!

I would advise everyone that uses peaking a lot to actually swap the key assignment. E for left peak, and Q for right peak... Then you don't have to take your fingers of the strafe keys when peaking. But CTRL and ALT is also a option since they are not that hard to reach when moving..

the only thing i dont like is the thing where sometimes your bullets seem to do good damage and sometimes you empty a whole mag close range in to a AI and they just keep saying "pussy i know you here"

The argument against toggle lean is so good. I quite like reverse lean myself

I tried swapping lean keys, could not get my brain trained to it lolol I prefer the method of pressing lean and rolling my finger down to press the strafe key at the same time with one finger. I believe that's what you were explaining you do.

A lot of window are bulletproof but be careful some bullet can pass trough but you only get small wounds only because I think 90% velocity of the bullet is absorb by it

I wonder if the reason the AI is not shooting back when you're in the room at the 2nd floor of the barracks is because they registrer that building as having bulletproof glass because of the glass on the main entrance?! So the whole building might be tagged as *Is bulletproof or something... Or else players could just hide behind the glass and wait for AI to use up all the ammo they have Not sure if it also might be adding to the performance hit if the AI used line tracing to also check for a Tag on the windows everytime they aim to fire at you. They should do so for different cover i guess to be able to tell if it's hard cover or not. But i have noticed that they have shoot at concrete wall sometimes if they hear you on the other side, or iff you run behind the wall (outside the compound wall)

Good tips really useful,i think most problems when to come to Milsim games is lot of ppl think every fps is like cod an then nonstop crying on forums how hard it is,but no offence to anyone its just my opinion

FN becomes too easy for me lol. I never like using silencer, I use MK18 with a really loud muzzle to bring them out in the open and not bushes. then just empty you 60mags on them. Best feeling after defeating the game.

I want to like this game but it keeps having laggy severs, the A.I floating around or skipping steps and others not skipping and some of them eating bullets like a anime character then others dropping like a sack of taters with a shot to the chest from a glock 17

i just kill the Ai at the base trough the hole in the wall... they coming all, its really easy, if you have a cover. :D in the Barracks they have 3 ways to engage.

iteresting that you suggest crouching - i've found that crouching mostly causes me to die to headshots a lot more

I know you said the suppressor doesnt work very well but is there any benefit over nonsuppressed? just started and when I shoot it seems every enemy within 3 blocks zeros in on me at the starter town

I wonder if you loose even more frames when ADS with x-Zoom scopes if you have post-processing on medium, high or epic. I loose up to 10+ FPS if i set it to anything other then low....

Draw agro in one direction away from obj, deep flank after a few kills and enter with less friction. Always have hard cover between you and them use crouches and peaks Play like its call of duty or cod tarkov... you will die. Slow down. The AI Should spray like a typical rebel would... they dont aim half the time. lol hip fire... spray and pray over walls and out of doors or alleys... I can understand the military base AI being aggressive but.... rebels... and typical body guards.... nah.

all works great till you are in Midnight... and the AI where i play on the N/A server they fly up in the air and one shot you every time.. im done till they fix it

Great Video man, I've really been enjoying your content. Just wanted to add to your point on the dorm room windows. I can confirm that they will shoot at you through the windows in the dorms once they're cracked/broken. Eventually after enough rounds those windows shatter and have huge holes in them. I believe the A. I. Line of sight does actually detect objects in the way (the glass) and once there is a gap; they will see you and start firing. This A. I. Is actually quite advanced and I cant wait to see how they improve.

I got locked behind a door at fort narith yesterday and the AIs arm were poking through both of them were perfectly tracking me through the well 😭

Have you noticed that AI don't die from a grenade going of just 4-6m away from them? And something about the naded... They have to enable holding after the pin is pulled. Maybe a trowing power thing were you need to hold it for 1sec to throw it far, or just hold and quick release to just toss it for a shorter distance. And something that would be really nice is if you look down a bit, you can trow/toss is along the ground. And look up you do a long throw.
