I can never understand why people misplace certificates, tags, booklets etc when they buy an expensive watch, I even keep all paperwork when I buy a G-Shock. That 116600 is such a unique watch with a production span between 2-3 years, need to get that one in my collection.

Trust the seller. But that doesn’t mean they won’t try to swindle you. The issue I’ve run into is when they misrepresent the condition of the watch, missing links, papers in foreign language. Etc… and this is from popular grey market dealers who show an honest side but in reality con artists trying to make an extra buck. Other than my AD, the best experience I have had is with Swiss Watch Expo.

Ya, it's crazy to me that people will send money to businesses/dealers who they have doubts about all because they think they are getting 500-1000 off a watch, I will happily pay a little more to know what I am getting, don't buy the watch, buy the seller, it took me 2 years to find my regular watch dealer and I couldn't be happier with all my purchases from him, PS that's the only reason I haven't bought a watch from Peter.
