"A tax dodge isn't a tax dodge, unless it's a tax dodge." That is, if your only reason for your deduction is to create a deduction, you can't use it. OTOH, if it's something you would have done anyway, pursuant to your business, you're OK.

Got a question for this show: do you like the idea to review your financial/retirement accounts at the end of each quarter to see and review the changes and how to make adjustments to prepare for future planning? I have been doing that past few years and more people likely do this regularly to help with their situations.

9:13 “Hire you to represent them” ??? When I interviewed Abound Wealth, she told me the All Inclusive / Holistic service covered tax planning, but I had to hire an accountant to prepare and file. How do you represent someone who you didn’t prepare or file for? Aka… Brian’s Troll (BTW, anyone who questions him is a troll)

I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of information can be a big hurdle. I've been making more than $100k passively by just investing through an advisor, and I don't have to do much work. Inflation or no inflation, my finances remain secure. So I really don't blame people who panic.
