It's 3:30 in the morning I have to be at work in like 6 hours and I've been up all night oiling my scalp even used the sulfur 8. I was so close to cutting this crap out my head. This didn't completely get rid of the itching but it helped a lot. I'm going to bed thank you
OMG!! Thank you so much, I've only had mine for about a week, I've tried everything!!!!! I will be trying this tonight, because I'm "this close," to taking them out!
I am SO glad I found this video because when I tell you the ACV rinse didn't do much for me and the tea tree oil just made the irritation worse! After I rinsed, I COVERED every part on my scalp with the Sulfur 8 and I felt immediate relief! My irritation definitely went from a 10 to a 4, maybe even a 3. I am SO glad that I chose to buy it today, because I went in the hair store planning to only get tea tree oil. THANK YOU!!!!
If this doesn't work the braids that cost me $180 and have only been up for a week, have to go. I can't take it. The itch is unbearable. I'd much rather braid my own hair and let my arms get tired than to let this itching continue
I just did the crochet faux locs 3 days ago, and I'm going crazy with the itching. Shit! I only paid $40 for the hair, so these bad boys are coming out this week.
Right. Mine cost me $200 and I'm on day 2. They look fabulous and the hairdresser soaked and washed the hir but this shit about to come out if I don't get a remedy
Thank you, this helped immensely. I didn't use sulfar8 i used Doo grow anti itch with tea tree oil and that brought the itching down greatly to a 4 from a 10. I will still pick up Sulfar8....just in case. This is day 3 with faux locs.
I just tried your remedy and I will say it works absolute wonders! I think I will be able to actually sleep tonight without my head feeling like it is on fire smh. It is only day one so I am still getting the occasional itch here and there but it is nothing compared to the irritation I was experiencing before so thank thank you thank you thank you!!!
Geez. I wish I would have seen this before I got my faux locs. This itching might make me lose my mind. I've been using castor oil but I think I will try this. Thanks!
I wash the braids extension with AVC for the frust time before installed my hair. Today is day 3 and sudden got a itches. I'm trying to use your recipes. Do you only use ACV and warm water? is Sulfur 8 goes into ACV bottle or is it after you apply AVC Spray? please be clear. I'm hearing impaired. Thank you
Im on day 2 and want to cry my hair itches so bad. I washed my hair with sea breeze and Ketoconazole and still didn't work. Im on my way to the store to buy those products. I hope it works for me because it took me 17 hours to do this hair
What kind of hair did you use for your faux locs? It looks good. I just got mine done with the silk hair and I have extreme pain and itching-omg. I am going to try everything if I have to even mouth wash. Thanks for the video- the tree oil is helping all ready.
Thanks your hair looks so good. I love the look but there way to heavy maybe I'll try to do them myself next time with an easier method. Thanks for your help
Sulfur 8 works miracles .....highly recommend!! However please soak the hair with Apple Cider Vinegar. The colored faux locs are the worst to itch.....like 1B30, or 1B27.
I have to admit it didn't work at first. I used 2/3 apple cider vinegar with water in a spray bottle and sprayed my scalp and once I applied the sulfur 8 the itching stopped.. I also find that having the braids in a ponytail helped... Thx xoxo
Thank you so much! I got these faux locs 4 days ago and have been trying the tea tree oil, shampoo and conditioner, and just greasing my hair in general and still couldn't sleep at night bc if the itch. I just watched your video and tried this a few hours ago & this is the longest that I've been without wanting to snatch these locs out of my head. The itching hasn't stopped completely, but It definitely feels 10x better so Thank You.
Thank you! Sorry I can't remember the brand name, but it was Marley hair and I paid $7 for each pack. So it was a better quality than the normal $5 pack.
Omg! I've been up since 2am with an intense, unbearable itch..I tried the apple cider vinegar ...No relief..It almost felt like it had gotten worst ..So bad, I had to get out of bed again to wash my scalp. ...I feel somewhat of a relief but as soon as I get a few more hours of sleep, I'm going purchase the sulphur 8 grease ...This is 2nd time I've having the faux locs. The first time I didn't have this issue...Oan, I've only had them 3days ..Thanks for the information..
This is the worst, first time I have done crotchet locs so close to the scalp, using the rubberband method since my hair is short. Night 3 4:47am , sheabutter, wig spray, and my dab pen until I can go soak this in vinegar later.
This might sound crazy but I used vaginal itching cream and it worked like magic. It's the only way I could sleep. I will however switch to sulfur 8 and hopefully I get the same results
Mabel Akinyi oh wow, I've never heard of that before! Definitely try soaking the air first in apple cider vinegar and water if you can. That will stop the itching from happening.
Yes. But Sulfur is drying. I mix equal parts of vegan sulfur with castor oil or a scalp 'grease' apply it straight to the parts and rub it in. It stops itching and flaking.
