Things I did; hard water filter for the shower, Pacifica Rosemary Purify Shampoo and Condition, washing every third day, minimal heat styling, JVN Complete Conditioning Mist and Air Dry Cream. Supplements have also been invaluable.

I too lost most of my long hair after covid. I think what I learned the most was scalp care. I did all the "things", like you. I'm so happy that it all came back, healthier than ever before! I think that all the love I was giving my scalp gave me the healthiest strands and scalp I've ever had. Thank you for talking about this. When I was going through it, there wasn't much out there to help. I feel like I finally learned how to take care of my hair during that time, out of desperation, at age 56. Your hair always looks so nice and I'm happy that you are having such good results with all that you are doing.

They have no silicones, phylates, sulfates, etc. I ,also, throw in the castor oil mask once a week ( brand "shea moisture") in a jar. I still am blessed with long thick hair. I refuse to go gray/ white, so I use a store box hair color, lol. Trying to stay young. I think I'll pick up your vitamins, Ty. You look fabulous as always🤩🥰. Great video🎉

My daughter is a hair stylist and she is freaking out over my hair loss too. I use very good products on my hair and still it is thinning. She tells me its from within and not what I'm doing wrong to my hair. I think I will try the Mary Ruth's Vitamins too. Thanks for sharing.

For anyone who doesn't eat as well (nutritionally speaking) as they should, may I also suggest AG1. It is a greens powder that smells kind of like chocolate, but tastes like sort of like pineapple 🤷‍♀️ that's my take anyway. I have noticed it's working, along with my vitamins and collagen powder, to make my skin, hair and nails better, as well as my focus and energy. Just a thought.💜

I know a few people that take AG1 and swear by it. I sent for samples as I have a texture and taste issue. I don't know if I can get past the green(algae looking). I have the samples but haven't tried them yet. I've been told to drink on an empt stomach but energy etc is supposedly increased. I have several health issues and find it hard to believe this can do anything more but I'll try. A week of samples won't really give me a full treatment but it's pricey and won't throw money away if I can't drink it. A squeeze of lemon was recommended too.

@@aadolan4813 I truly like the taste. I put it in about 8oz of cold water, and shake it up in a shaker bottle, and drink it almost straight down. On an empty stomach, first thing in the morning. It smells good and tastes good. Just close your eyes, and gulp!!😁

I couldn't help but notice your reply and mentioning you use WEN products. I used WEN products for about 12 years. Over the last 4 years I started noticing major hair loss, especially in the crown area. My daughter researched some things on WEN and talked to me about it. I stopped using it completely about 8 months ago. I didn't change anything but that and started using shampoo and conditioners again, which have rosemary. I made sure the products didn't have any nasty sulfates, salts or surfactants. My hair has drastically improved. I still have thinning at the crown, but my hair has grown so well, since. I just felt compelled to share my experience. Good luck with your hair journey.

All my hair has grown back now, but it's not as thick or lustrous as it was pre-vid. I've done all the things you've done and more, but those two issues seem to still be issues. My nails are not as strong as they were pre-vid either. Now, I can say I've got a good at least 3 inches of growth on top that is looking a bit thicker and shinier, or maybe it's wishful thinking, idk, lol. All this to say, you're definitely not alone. Hey Melissa! A timely video! I lost most of my hair this past year as three head CT scans within a 48-hour period just accelerated what menopause started. Mother Nature is an evil witch! Anyway, can't do Minoxidil or Rogaine, so I've been having fun buying and wearing hats. They block sun exposure too, so I won't worry too much about regrowing hair for a few more months. Just wondering if any of these topical potions and lotions contain any kind of sunscreen-? Your hair looks great, and your face is flawless! Thanks for the video!

I just got tired of the bleach just trashing my hair & gave up the dye jobs for hair masks & healthy hair trims every 6 months. My hair is wavy to curly & the bleach also trashed my curl pattern as well. I told hubby he could have long hair or blonde hair & he chose long. Happy Friday! Some of those tips are good, but first, I don't think you should have named this video "STOP your hair loss". Some people will take that as the stuff that you take will stop THEIR hair loss. Everyone is different and their are far too many factors that you didn't mention in your video. For instance, genetics plays into hair loss. Also, someone might have issues with vitamin levels, or sugar, or blood and on and on. Another example is traction alopecia from wearing the hair pulled too tightly. Also, you take an awful lot of supplements which not everyone can take and/or afford. As well, supplements do not have scientific backing/studies in most cases. The best thing anyone can do is go see their personal doctor if they are suffering hair loss. Start there. Any testing will be approved by the doctor and they can try and figure out if anything is going on internally. I love you and your channel Melissa, but suggesting all those supplements would work for anyone else is a bit irresponsible. The best suggestion is always to seek out the advice of a doctor FIRST before putting stuff in your body that may hurt you. Also just wanted to say that I am 51, menopausal and suffer from hair loss too.
