STOP Hating On Fortnite Collabs 

I do love Collabs in Fortnite especially the ones I enjoy! It brings people to the game, coming back after a couple months and playing the game with their favourite collab and new players as well! It can be overwhelming sometimes as well: last for weeks we've had Eminem, Frieza, Cell, The Weeknd, Invincible, Jam Tracks for Fortnite Festival (Lady Gaga, Billie Ellish), Lego, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and John Wick new style! Epic knows their game and will keep doing what the must do! More Icon Skins with Content Creators and Streamers is what we need more of, we haven't had one since January of 2023...

I love collabs they make the game better! like us getting in game mythics for anime collabs is so cool hope we get some more in game collab mythics this chapter.

2:49 ontop of original skins coming to fortnite, i think they were also beginning to flex their muscles with original collab skins. The nike skins from Chapter 4 Season 3 come to mind, Airie especially is so well designed that if it wasn't for her shoes, i would mistake her as just a random original skin.

I think alot of it does have to do with the preference of what gets in. One of my biggest issues w early collabs was how it felt like licenses like marvel were one of the go tos, especially in chapter 2 and 3. They even got into the lore with its own season and comic run (lore being another reason ive seen hate on collabs) Alot of my hate died down when we started getting more diverse w collabs , like chapter 2 season 5 and all of chapter 4, something i really liked of chapter 4. Seeing people like terminator and snake eyes made me really happy

Honestly, I think the collabs are healthy for the game and it’s playerbase. Although they usually do it when the game is less popular, that’s PERFECT because they have the marketing power to let these collabs happen. They can also bring in new items, example all the *24 MYTHICS* in Ch2 S4. But with all that said, Darth Vader can 200 pump Peter Griffin at the same time that Joker hits the griddy and Naruto is cranking a 9 story 46 bedroom hotel, while in the background Thanos and Batman and box fighting. What a world we live in 😂 Edit: I don’t know if I’m scared or impressed that this could actually happen

I feel that collabs really make Fortnite….well, Fortnite! It gives it more personality and ties into the big theme of the multiverse and different realities!

As obscure as it sounds, the Ferrari collab got me into the game. Loved crusing in the car and the girl in Ferrari clothing is still one of my fav skins in the game. Cant wait to see the car back, now as a cosmetic (one day hopefully)

As much as people hate collabs they never admit the recent original skins have been garbage. I like collabs because it gives me reason to talk about the game with people instead of it sounding like I'm talking about a "kids" game.

Collabs are great! After we got the first wave of Naruto cosmetics, it got me super excited for MHA getting in. Then it finally did in Chapter 4 Season 1 and it was the most excited I had been for a Fortnite collab. Just hoping we get a Wave 3 for MHA cosmetics because we really need some of the villains

People saying that their favorite characters are being destroyed because of that are stupid. Its not like them being in Fortnite is part of their lore now, its just a skin, a cosmetic

All I want in the game is Sora and Kingdom Hearts. Some collabs are very lore heavy and I think there is insane potential there.

The Collabs are the best part of fortnite now, I only really buy stuff from this game, if it involves collabs that I know, definitely want them to keep doing the Collabs, they already have their skins and characters set, with Jonesy, Peely, Cuddle Team Leader, fish stick, bright bomber, Fortnite already created it’s identity, they should definitely keep doing a lot of collabs

I never understood the collab hate it’s always super fun and the collabs directly correlate to how much people usually play, since me and my friends are all 20+ they don’t really care about originals like me and will not play as much if the collabs aren’t good

Yea people always say that collabs are just cash grabs but i don't understand why, a company and a development industry needs to make money, and with epic doing collabs its them just trying to make money, what some people who complain so much about collabs don't understand is that epic is trying to hype up the game or a show or a movie character. (Im not counting singers or icon skins or wrestlers cuz their real people no offense) and i mean thats what i think or they could just trying to show support for that collab, its not a bad thing its actually a good thing its a good way to make money, isn't a cash grab, and their just trying to have fun. (P.S no offense to fans of April but i just kinda wish she was replaced by shredder since he's probably the best villain in tmnt history at least in my opinion)

I like collabs. They bring in all sorts of fans from many different series to a silly game to play.

ive never cared about collabs, as a kid when i was playing gta i would cosplay as batman and whatnot so a game making you able to actually be them was amazing to me

Having a buncha different characters from other pieces of media is so funny, like goku, spiderman, Eminem and darth maul get squad wiped by Peter Griffin is the funniest thing ever.

Original skins haven’t wowed me in years. I’ve been maining my favorite original skins from chapter 1. It’s hard for me to purchase an original skin knowing I won’t be using them as much.

Gonna be 1000% honest. Originally I tried fortnite in season one, but I had a horrible Internet connection, and all my friends hated it because of the community surrounding it, so I stopped play it swiftly after. Years later, I heard they added the Mandalorian... And I decided to try it again, and with a better Internet connection, And I have gotten to at least level 100 in every battle pass since then. Maxing out a few battle passes along the way... The first one I maxed out being the one immediately after the alien one, and the most recent being The recent OG season... I HAD to have that Golden Omegarok.

The only thing I don’t like about collabsis that they make some battlepass exlusive and I missed out on Optimus Prime when I took a break from the game

I desperately want Mortal Kombat to get Collabs Specifically Johnny Cage, Scorpion, and/or Liu Kang Like those would go so hard with Fortnite Unique designs

I just miss the times where we used to get cool and original skins like Raven. It’s cool to see crossovers but it feels like they prioritize that over having original skins outside of battle pass stuff.

Collabs only suck when majority of them are Marvel & DC. These recent collabs are so good tho.

I think they need to figure out a different way to do the battlepass because there should never be a skin that shows up that can never show up again. Maybe make the battlepass have an alternate outfit that's battlepass exclusive, but you can still get the default version of the skin in the item shop.

What annoys me is that kids will only know the stuff from Fortnite

Collabs in Fortnite is the reason I started playing I started in chapter 2 season 2 and got Deadpool in the battle pass I know a lot of people want him but can’t get him since he was exclusive to the battle pass

I super fuck with the collabs honestly. It turned fortnite in to this like pop culture crack pot. I think that’s kinda cool, even if I had to sell my kidney to get the Sasuke and Vegeta skins 💀

My least favorite collab is somehow for my favorite superhero Superman, they didn't give him no powers, no abilities, no importance in the story, unlike Batman which also has 4+ skins, it just feels like .they used him to fill the Battle pass.

Fortnite got my attention when I saw that Spiderman was in the game but it was too complex for me to hop into, then superman was announced and I had the same issue, by the time I really decided to play I came to the realization that I will never get spidey or the man of steel who is my number one favorite hero of all time but. Im still playing while hoping they they sell us those skins for a high price that I and many others would pay since we didn't grind for them when they were available.

personally, i know that i have to accept that theres gonna be Collabs, but that does not mean i cannot still dislike or hate a Collab. like, theres one season of fortnite that ruined fortnite for me, which was chapter 2 season 4. i HATE that season with all my passion! That season was the first season in quite a few where i did not get tier 100+, that, and the fact that i played less and less due to it

the Collabs are great its just that it feels like fortnite just makes collab skins more then their own custom skins. The battle pass has fortnite made skins but it still has a few collabs in it. The item shop feels to me like it just has collabs in it and they only bring back old skins not new custom skins.

I think they managed to strike a good balance of original skins and collabs, so much potential for future collabs as well. I wanna see King of the Hill and One Piece lmfao

We dislike them because majority of them are being locked behind battle passes and we dislike them because they are ruining the storyline and originality+ the gameplay should be promoted in an LTM. People will see that Rick from Rick and Morty is in the game but when they login they’ll find out that they can never play as Rick because Rick will never come back.

I just wish they added weapons that werent so over powered like the movement this season is so op people run for 5 min with a grapple blade and turtle stick

I would love collabs if they didn't do it every week and if they didn't make entire live events just for them!

I'm only hating on Collabs because lately they've been so expensive with 3-5 skins and 2-3 separate bundles if you're trying to collect Collabs you love.

I like collabs but let's be honest, locking a collab behind a battlepass should not be a thing. Players should be able to buy the skin 1 year later or something like that...

I like the collabs but when its every corner I'm not a fan of it. The mtythics and bosses are so neat but I cant seem to like collabs in battlepasses all the time. I miss all the sick original skins but now its just collabs and it feels underwhelming. Item shop skins are fine for events and stuff but the amount of secret skins i miss is otherworldly

I gotta say, you're right, but i was playin since chapter 1 and collaborations were trully special so when they started adding everything to fortnite the magic of collabs was... gone. So that's the reason i hated collabs, but now we have a multiverse inside of fortnite and collaborating with everyone and everything just makes sense. While I ADORE the original skins of Fortnite, the collabs are so much fun and while playing fortnite with my friends it gives us a good laugh. GREAT, WE JUST KILLED BY AN ENTIRE SQUAD OF EMINEMS

I love the collabs aspect of Fortnite. I don't alway have interest in every collabs but that's ok. Not every collabs has to be for ME. Take the anime collabs, I'm not very interested in anime, so those collabs don't interest me much. But that's ok because lots of people love them. TMNT is one of the few collabs I dropped vbucks on. First it's from my childhood and connects with me, and second, the skins backblings and pick axes look fantastic, they did a great job on them.

I don't get the hate of collabs. Only thing I don't like is that some collabs are never coming back. Collab skins should be in my opinion on item shop.

Only ones i gotta hate on are the anime collabs (specifically the ones that tend to add nothing to the game) because it just feels like a desperate attempt for recognition even tho they definitely dont need to do that, if they collab with one piece than imma have some issues lol. Otherwise, nah keep collabs coming.

I mean, I got into Fortnite BECAUSE of the collabs, I gotten every single collab skin I could get, even ones that I never heard of or not interested in watching/watching/reading, Hell, I even made an ultimate groupshot image of EVERY collab character that I own, and it’s still going.

colabs are just fucking goofy, this game had such a fun and unique identity in the early days that you can still see remains of in save the world as an action movie inspired light hearted zombie survival game, the over the top cooky shit since like c1s4 has ruined that and the colabs were just the nail in the coffin. its gotten to the point its actually funny because the game just straight up feels like a fever dream

I used to hate fortnite to tell you the truth, if you asked me back in 2016 i would've refused to play the game. Fast foward a bit, fortnite almost had me when they added master chief into the game, I'll admit i considered it but i held onto my stance. Then they added Doom slayer into the game and yeah thats how i got into the game. I admit i haven't stopped playing the game ever since, and now I'm grinding for peter griffin

So for me I am not a Fortnite player actually I don’t play any shooters at all ever. However I do love Minecraft, Mario Kart and especially Guitar Hero and Rock Band. I still have all my Rock Band and Guitar Hero instruments so obviously I had to download Fortnite. I like the new collabs for racing, Lego and Festival in Fortnite so I am just as surprised as you might imagine to say that I play Fortnite now. 😊. When Epic Ganes brought Harmonix I was hoping this would happen.

Anime collabs are sometimes the best collabs anyways they get the most mythics and the most detail tbh when it comes to emotes and looks fortnite is the best when it comes to collabs in media

They are fun though then can be annoying at times, in the sense that the sheer amount can overwhelm you. But my main skins are collabs as they can be some of the best looking ones by far
