Hey folks! Had quite a few people asking about the build I was using in this video so I've thrown together a full video breaking down this highly versatile, high crit, PvE Assault rifle build that you can find here -->> ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FIMK2Kyi3_w.html
Lately I Have been thinking and I belive a good survival build might be hunter fury mask, chest, holster and gloves with recalibrated armor, the murakami named Knee pads and memento backpack, weapon pestilence and the rest is up to you
Here's my guide. 1. Never keep 4 Piece gear set unless you need it. 2. Only keep named gears. 3. Only keep armor and backpack. 4. Only keep Providence, Ceska and Grupo armor and backpack with chd, chc. (because you mainly need to mess with them alot for all kinds of dps build) 5. Only keep meta weapons like Famas and Vektor. 6. Have a skill build and a tank build so you wouldn't need to stash gila guard or any other skill gear. There, your storage would never exceed 100.
Yea im getting a hold of my empress builds which will help me delete skill gear. Tough saying goodbye to good brand peices just cause they don't fill a spot i.e mask. My tip is be very strick with which brands you keep and you can at least hold onto 6 piece brands sets. Grupo, emoress, skill damage and status affect attributes will cover all skills and explosives, providing great heals and a wide range of skill builds. Skill haste can be covered with mods.
Okay, I feel better. I thought I was a hoarder, but then I see this guy has 3+ of each exotic. This video made me feel like a better person. Thank you!
Currently one mule character, my long living HC toon (who is very much still alive thank you very much lol) then I have an empty slot for sacrificial HC characters for streams lol!
To be honest no matter how many slots they gave me I would just fill them all up anyway so objectively I think the limits they have are fine. It demands some discipline in making decisions on what to keep or ditch and really part of the allure of a looter game is the inventory management so I don't mind taking an hour every so often to clear out the junk. It's a sickness but it's our sickness.
Haven't played in a while but I certainly support those making videos for the game still! The Division is a game I'll always jump back in and have fun with.
I just got back on after 6 months or so away I'm so lost. Never heard of the summit and no idea what the optimization station is. I started a whole new character just to learn the game again
@@user-isntavailable that is literally me, I just started playing again this week after having been off since practically launch. I am so confused and lost on everything rhats changed
You've gotta set parameters for flexibility and ease of play. 1) maximum 5 builds, +5 specialisations per character 2) 60 free slots at start of day 3) no mods in the stash, maximum 200 used spaces in stash 4) one level 30 empty character 5) one unused level 40 character.
I don't see how anybody needs more space or how anybody hoards anything if it's not useful or going according to your builds then it should be gone I only keep or let's say I only have one Marksman rifle one lmg one double barrel song off and then for my clothing accessories I have whatever I'm wearing on and nothing else mods I might sort through them get rid of the bats and I have nothing in my stash whatsoever after maybe like five or six or seven missions I either sell everything that's useful or I deconstruct stuff that's new for me though but yeah I'm also the same person who didn't play this game in almost 700 days 🤣 so I don't know what you guys are hoarding please tell me because I've been using one loadout the entire franchise from part 1 to part 2
I cant lie, I might have laughed a bit when I saw the title as I knew what your hoarding is like. A nice concise way of hopefully keeping stocks low and important rather than full and almost pointless. The only issue i see is the actual clearout might take a bit of time for some(I know others that hoard like you) but should be totally worth it. Thanks for covering this.
I think we should start a focus group for players who horde loot, thoughts? This is a topic I've had a few requests for so I hope it helps a few players out. If you enjoyed the video or found it helpful sharing the video and giving it a like helps others find it too and don't forget to subscribe to catch future videos!
Bro, I typically find your videos very useful and I have promoted them a few times on FB. I got to admit, this one in the beginning was way too elementary in explanation. Players that have too much loot right now already know how the inventory works. Seven minutes into the video for the meat and potatoes was too much man.
I really appreciate the feedback, I try to make sure my videos are very beginner friendly but maybe here I broke things down a little more then needed in the beginning, feedback has been noted and taken onboard!
Very useful video. I remember searching for this when I started a new char at the beginning of this year, but I couldn't find anything, so nice job mate! I have this weird habit of storing at least 1 piece of each gear type and brand/gear set so I have them in case I would need them "later on" (which is never, lol) , which takes A LOT OF SPACE. I have to stop this shit 🤣
This was awesome to see, sounds so much like old me :) (went over everything and cleaned out some space). Also noticed and agree with others, would be nice to see what you think about the mod stuff. My "trick" keep the best and dump the rest, have put some into skills when I use them and then also go over when getting full and dump what isn't needed. Too much drops which I cannot find any use for but man it is fun :)
150 spaces? Should be at least 1500 spaces... I'm dreading this new season, and we are only halfway in because I can't even manage all the loot boxes, much less my inventory. My DZ "mail" is full, my characters are all caring around 18 to 20 boxes (mostly Exotic cashes and named items)... Let's face it, I'm doomed. And no, I will never get rid of my precious, it is up to Massive to triple the size of our inventory ;) And I'm not that wrong either... Just to give an example, one needs at least three full sets of Hunter's Prey (one with armour, and a full red set), two Foundry sets, two True Patriot sets... And that's just the indispensable stuff. Then we have those pieces we all love, which will always have two or three variants... And I don't even use squill build that much, not my style, however, you need a piece with Unbreakable, one with Glass Cannon, one with Spotter, and maybe one with a companion, and did I forget Vigilance? To add to that one requires at least one defensive and one offensive set... And on and on. Massive has had to console excuse for long enough, now with the self-entitled "new-gen" that excuse has gone away. Massive, we need 1000 sluts, and that's the minimum acceptable :) Cheers.
Dude, tripling the stash sounds so good... but! Imagine filling it and having to face clearing out nearly 1000 pieces of loot, Would have to book time off work haha
@@ThatAbrax ;) That would be a good thing, right? I mean, they haven't given us any content for more than a year, the only thing left is loot grind... I've done everything on heroic, fed up with the broken DZ, what else is there to do but to hoard?
Thanks man for your amazing time and information you given us for the game you right and have a wonderful point thanks again and we miss your video and live stream hope you doing well abrax with love
Good job! Just 1 remark: you skipped over skill mods. 100 places for both skill and gear mods is way too few unless you use some tricks like i do: For gear mods i basicly do what you do: keep 2 or 3 each exept resistance mods (i only keep de bleed resistance for my Backfire builds.) Tip: put all your gearmods into your different pieces of gear from your loadouts. Saves you a ton of space! Skillmods: these are a real pain in the a.. to manage. I keep 1 of each and usually let my inventory run up to about 95 out of 100. Then i go over every skill slot 1by1 and see if i found better and replace them directly into the skill slot. When everything is inserted i sit around 48 out of 100 mod-slots occupied. Tip: never use stash space to keep mods. Makes managing mods next to impossible. Besides, you need those 300 precious spaces for weapons and gear. I always sit around 290 out of 300 filled up and 100 out of 150 on me. That leaves me just enough space to play 4 to 8hrs, after which i spend about 30min cleaning everything up. I also keep a mule for exotics and 4-piece sets i dont use. Note: we need more loadouts for builds as well! 16 is not enough for me! Lately I've become somewhat of a "Build-junkie" 😉😁
Thanks so much for this video I've put many many hours in to the game and always can't work out what to keep what not to keep . You got a sub my friend
Believe me. Later does come. I'm sure glad I save quality gear. I don't save everything. 3 full mules . My stash ID around 150. My main carry about 50 pieces. I compare and save gear. Works great for me. I find myself having not to grind so much for crafting materials.
Nice video, although I was waiting for something like steps 1...2...3... etc. you started the video focusing on what to keep and what not however, you went into other things that I think took you away from tract. Honestly I am not criticizing the video I wish I had gotten more out of it in regards of managing the stash. Thank you once again.
Always happy to hear some feedback, I want to make sure I'm making videos that people enjoy and find useful! I'll take on board and I'm glad you enjoyed the vid! :-)
Oh I've got so much good stuff I got to the point if it ain't god rolled then I deconstruct/sell it everything I have is god or so close optimization cost very little.
Remember to keep skill dmg and skillhaste grupo. Or the same on a perfect glass cannon. This is super rare. And can be used for explosive build and other skillbuilds
Since i started i am interested in only one style which is niche since people like fantasy i do not. So i sell or deconstruct everything and also mark it as trash... Inventory management can be done quuckly and will be done anyway everytime due to the game design based on loot which is the real bad news. I have an easy time at playing it following a mindset. The tactical realism simulation so much i also add on it a persobal lore and mechanics: like stashibg stuff and thinking that picked up stuff is 3d printing files not actual items, otherwise we would need a huge wardrobe with us... Once i bring it to a stash there are couriers that bring to the 3d printing station which is at the BOOperations. Only there i will be able to equip it. Hardcore and simulation, realism and role playing and tactical comms with ptt or nothing. Can t play games with vanilla cheesy approach.
@@ThatAbrax I should probably stop keeping Shield build and sniper rifle items. I will never use them, I find them very boring, but I have a TON of god roll rifles and sniper rifles that I just do not care about. Wish I could trade them for something I'll actually use lol.
All I keep in my stash are named items and every other exotic in the game that I don't use but no dupes as I only use one character. I also keep builds I used to use like True Patriot just in case I feel like throwing it on again.
I just came back to the game after working other games, and my friends are now levels like 3000 and they gear dump on me. So I now have a bunch of god rolled and exotics.
My friend always takes too long looking at his inventory in any game. He just joined me in Division 2. He’s going to spend forever just looking at loot.
Cheers! That is the Hunter's Fury Jacket, If I remember correctly it was a reward from one of the Season Reward Tracks, same Season the Hunters Fury Gear set released. I'm not sure if there is currently a way to get it but I imagine we will get a re-run at some point!
Hey! I do indeed, this video I go over the Attributes definitions and meanings in The Division 2: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ig4EQEj-sUU.html hope it helps!
Lol...yes for real its like stop being a horader but oh well I like trying to get different builds like everyone else. Then you get god rolls you can't use yet lol...stash it.
so i just farmed for high end gear and i fast traveled to a settlement and i lost everything after fast traveling I low key want to quit playing just because of it
What should I do when my regular crafting materials are maxed out but the assault rifle/SMG/whatever gear piece specific crafting materials are nog maxed? You need those for optimization right? But it is worth giving up the credits and 'wasting' the normal crafting resources for the gear piece and set crafting resources?
If you're maxed out I'd just consider selling the gear to a vendor for credits, deconstructing it won't give you any benefit. But don't forget to check your normal crafting materials and the optimization materials, one might be full but the other may still need a top up! Hope that helps!
You can change the display of your damage numbers to 3 different ways. If you go to setting --> UI --> Scrolling Combat Text. I use 'Floating'. Hope that helps!
When someone says 'god roll' they are referring to a weapon or piece of gear that has the ideal max attributes or talents for what it's used for, for example a holster that might be good for a crit build having max crit damage and chance as the attributes.
@@ThatAbrax thanks for the explanation. Love your videos. Just started playing and watched your video for beginners and the video about playing through the tier system or jumping straight into warlords of ny after hitting grlvl30.
You should be able to open the stash and press the button shown at the bottom of the screen to take items from the stash, as long as you have space in your inventory.
@@ThatAbrax thank you for reaching back to me. I have 2 more slots open in my inventory but the items from my stash still will not go into my inventory. Note- I'm on Xbox
Hey! and cheers! You can either sell the loot for credits, deconstruct it for crafting materials or you can add one of it's attributes to the recalibration station(Once you've unlocked it) destroying the item. Hope that helps!
I didn't think I was a hoarder but this game has raised some red flags. Really struggling to let go. Just a heads up, I never like or subscribe to anybody that asks for likes and subscribes. We all know how it works, so tired of hearing it
I might be the worst out of all these people here haha, in these looter shooter games, survival games, I have a "real" bad habit keeping gear or weapons, that I used from level one. Reason for this is because as I level up I won't be seeing these level type of gear/weapon again. Soooo in my Stash, I keep green, blue, and purple gear that are 1 to 30 and gear between 31 to 39 level where my stash is almost always full... I'm definitely a weird kind of player that does this...... 😶
Is it just me or does everyone else carry around every build they have? I got 6 -7 builds and I feel the need to be able to switch to either one in a moments notice 🤦♂️
is this still applicable this july 2022?with upcoming patch? planning to return player here, i am also a hoarder with 3 mule characters full of loot as well hahaha.
excactly. i perform on 4 characters and honestly itss awful. sooo many maxed stuff even never touched thinking of ..maybe one fuckin day^ as mentioned mostly doesnt happen. But on the other side - Summit; target Loot to focus gives you all u need by time ...
I like the video, but would really like to be shown examples and not game play. I try and follow what you are saying, but get distracted by the gameplay. Please show more what you are talking about, where to find it, what it looks like ... but great advice.
Why do they bring out new brand sets, gear, weapons and all that but don't increase the inventory size? It seems pretty fucked up to want to get players to try new builds and gear but you're severely limited by what you can carry. It really pisses me off. Raise the stash limit, allow creation of more characters. Just do anythig so people don't have to spend 20 minutes doing inventory management during each run FFS !!!
Once again, even after playing to level 30, I have no idea what a video maker is going on about. This game is too convoluted and makes gameplay obsolete as a person spends so much time messing with gear and other garbage.
The inventory and modifications are the STUPIDEST thing in this game even though everything else is really GOOD. Where is the point to have gazillion gloves and knees protectors and backpacks and body vests and rifles of all kinds pistols of all kinds machine guns off all kinds……… It just sucks!!!!!!
awesome stuff, again! :) btw, i have question about exotics, i.e. i want to re-roll or make a new exotic, but im afraid that once i get rid of one exotic i can't craft it again and its lost for good, im confused about this process, do i need two of the same exotics first? i need to hunt down for the parts again or what?...
You don't need 2 exotics to reroll it just exotic components, don't deconstruct exotic by mistake just reroll till you get a good roll then optimise where needed ok👍
