Intuitive eating is a term that has become very popularized as of late in the diet and wellness, and health community, partially in response to toxic diet culture. I understand the intent to emphasize this pattern of intuitive eating is for people to develop healthier associations with food and eating based on what your body tells you, but while i agree with the intent, I disagree with the implementation of what we promote as intuitive eating.
My goal here is not to convince you do do anything you don't want to do but simple give my perspective and my personal experience with intuitive eating.
