I styled my locs for one month for the first time last month. Had to get use to them. I just got retwisted and now I got hangtime after 4 months lol

I get a retwist and style every 6 to 7 weeks my hair is. Healthy and. Strong. I love getting barrel twist styles.

I Style mine after a wash and re-twist, and I keep the style in for 1 month

10 months in I get mine washed conditioned and braided into a protective style I leave the style in for about 3 -4 weeks let me breathe for about a week or two then I got for another retwist and restyle it helps you forget about the locs and before you know it they grow !

I only keep my styles in for like 1 week and a couple days because it be itchy asf 💀

I keep mine in 4-6 weeks and take em out.. I feel like when you first start off you should get a retwist every month to keep your hair from unraveling

I believe styling your locs makes them loc faster and grow but too much thins them

Grow your locks thick before keeping it styled. I grew mine for 3 years before my first tight style

If you want to get ‘thicker’ locs then use jojoba oil, research your oils.. do not use products that claim to have multiple ingredients, but singular and create your own treatments

okay this video is crazy . You said you left your hair in twist for 60 days ?? noo . you should not leave a loc style for more than a couple days if you want to keep having full thick locs . think about it . the pressure and manipulation will change the formation of your loc and the thickness an the strength. why do you think oriole whole style have a lot of scalp showing . the scalp is showing because the locs have thinned . leaving a loc style for 4 weeks is over a month that’s crazy . Also when you have a loc style after the stay the curls it gives is a second style as well, so if you leave your original stay for say up to 3 days and then you take it down . you can then wear the down curls for as long as 3 weeks . if you leave a stag for 3 weeks or more , in a style up and then when it comes down you 200% need to wash the hair and will not be able to enjoy the down curls because you had it in that style for too long . don’t risk the healthiness and thickness of your locs for a style . i’m 5 yrs loc with thick locs . and for anyone who’s wanting to know you can have thick locs in rods under dryer , or rope twist for just 2-3 days blow dried after the wash and you will have beautiful curls and my curls lasted me 2 weeks . so it’s more than possible to get curls in just a few days with a stay

I retwist my dreads once a year and they grow crazy fast like that. Also taking out your style doesn't prevent matting getting your dreads retwisted only once a year causes matting even if you wash it you gotta get it retwisted at least 4 times a year
