Just as a note. I listen to those people and I look at who they are and where they are in life. This is why education and true history is important. WE do not recognise anti blackness because unless we research history ourselves who is teaching us the true meaning of the n word? Who is explaining to us that certain things are leading to our communal destruction? We have to understand why we need to care and what it is we need to care about. And we do not. Our people ARE splintered. I haven't met many other black people in the wild who didn't defend the N word, music that used it or was disrespectful to women in my life. Short of moving to more heavily black areas, I have found myself on the outside looking in because I didn't think any of us should be doing these things. EXACTLY.. God most definitely did not use perfect people to do his work. People don't want to hear or face the truth because they don't want their false illusions destroyed... they'd rather hold on to false narratives-even when the truth smacks them in the face

Kanye doesn't care about the Jews sucking your blood, but suddenly we are supposed to care about his problems with the Jewish record execs while Kanye chose to sign those contracts on his own. That was his choice, but you want to forget about Kanye claiming that slavery was a choice. You knee grows be hustling backward and wonder why your game ain't working. Free your mind from that backward thinking, and I personally guarantee you that if you keep up the good work and turn away from that backward thinking your efforts will be successful and produce positive results. Name another rapper or entertainer that speaks out for black folks the way Ye did. Please don't use that he doesn't care for black folks because if he didn't, he wouldn't be losing everything

@@richlundy3125 so let me start our dialog with one another like this. Black people have never been on the same page when it comes to strategy in how we deal with our oppression. So disclaimer, I liked Kanye and his music until he became political and what he was doing and saying made no sense. So I speak from a stand point of being a fan or a hater but what are you doing and what are you showing us? So when I put out there some examples of what I meant, you never addressed what I was saying as being inaccurate but pivoted to the behavior of politicians or what other artist are doing and not doing. That's what we mean when we provide cover for bad behavior. So when a person speaks on politics, it should be done in the context of a particular resolution that may not have happened and you can argue why you didn't get your way, or failed you in that particular fight but to say you vote and nothing happens leads me to believe you don't have an understanding of how it works? I'm not worried about comparing other artist to Kanye because thats not the litmus test for me but I can take a guy like Akon and talk about how he in Africa working on infrastructure in small villages that don't have running water or electricity and few people even know of works! I lost all respect for him when he said slavery was a choice, when he went to the Whitehouse and stumped for Trump, white lives matter shirts. I can't think of anything he has ever done for blacks besides encouraging words. Don't get me wrong, I don't feel like that's his either until you put that on your shoulders and judge others for what they doing and not doing.

@@jhill6033 I have a deep understanding of how things work. Zip read everyday and just like I stated in the very first post, most people don't listen to Ye whole interview. He clearly stated that Slavery to DEBT is a choice.

@@richlundy3125 So I was very specific, not just how "things" work but how politics work because if we have that deep knowledge we wouldn't mention politicians running on something and not being able to get it done because we understand the many barriers that must be overcome to see even simple legislation through. Now lets get to your statement about Kanye "clearly" stating that slavery to debt was a choice and we just didnt listen to the interview in its entirety. So out of respect for you and "your" truth Im gonna assume that we talking about two different interviews. The interview that caused the backlash when he said slavery was a choice was the TMZ interview and their was no way you could mistake what he said for anything else! To prove this he said in that interview " you mean slavery went on for 400 years and they stayed in that condition, that sounds more like a choice to me". He was then confronted by a TMZ staffer on camera that let him have it about the comments right there and only after he left the studio did he make other comments to muddy the water and offer other alternatives to what the hell he said in front of millions. Now if you ok with all that thats certainly your right but I aint gonna deal with nothing but facts here.
