Stop Making These Mistakes In Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 (Zero Build Tips & Tricks) 

I just can't bring myself to play a season in which the best strategy is to spend all game damaging other players' cars so that I'm the last one who has one at the end. Still appreciate you making content with this season!

If you dont have a car for some reason going thru the nitro rings under the flowberry effect is great mobility too avoid cars

THANK YOU for explaining the reload bug. I lost a few fights when I switched to my fully-loaded shotgun to wipe out my opponent only to find my character reloading and I end up being wiped out myself! I was going crazy.

Nitro fists, nitro splash. I always keep those in my load out so if my car blows up or if I’m not in a car I have solid mobility to traverse around spraying at cars or running away haha

pro strat: close gap(nitro fist) to all boss car that uses turret then drive them off a cliff into the storm. Now endgame is without boss cars

Hey Jake, I just wanted to say I've been watching your videos since the beginning of chapter 5 season 2 and they've really helped me improve. Of course, I'm not winning every single game, and I still die to simple mistakes or just being bad, but I did want to say your tips and watching your gameplay have helped me a ton. Another mistake is not tuning into Rock n' Royale while you're driving, damn they really put some bangers on there this season.

In Solos one time I came across a G wagon with three players in it 😂😂😂😂

Still not loving the season but got a few wins today with my son and his friend. We just prioritised getting megalo dons car so we could all ride around as a trio. Nitro fists are also a must. Have to say, we had an hour of fun.

As a solo who aims for the mythic car, the main mistake I think I make is driving too close to another player giving them a chance to get in the car. Once another player is in the car then the game can go anywhere.

You nailed some of the mistakes especially not disengaging a car fight when I should have... definitely going to start taking out these cars early... 4 people left and 2 of them have cars...🙄

I stopped making these mistakes because I left fortnite all together. I pray when they fix this mess they have created that you make a video and name it epic fixed fortnite that way I can come back. Till then I'm out of the fortnite scene.

Honestly after the first tip from the video about cars the other day, I thought the first tip in this video would be something like: stop making the mistake of playing this season😂

My new strat if a boss is mobile is to drop right into a car and grab a machine gun turret. If you stop a hundred meters in front or so, you can easily take out the shield while the boss comes to you. Hop out, steal their car and use it to finish them off. Start the game with a medallion, mythic weap or two, and a mythic car. My saddest moments are when I get to the map and all bosses are in their bases!

This is FORTNITE! Expect wild ideas to be implemented and Epic to flip the BR meta on its head! We just gotta embrace & adapt or just simply... Dont play.

So far my biggest issue solo is seat swapping quickly. Having ctrl bound was really screwing me up for some reason. Changing my key-bind greatly helped.

If I wanted to drive around shooting and jumping over shit, I should of just stayed playing GTA

The only things that I've been using the Nitro fists four is just getting away from enemies I don't like to use them to bust down on the ground or whatever I just don't feel like that kind of player I feel wrong if I even use it on people cuz it just I know they're in the game but just don't like using them I like to play better without having to use those things to bust down on enemies

I have unironically lost 4 top 5 games because of the reload bug. It's almost more tilting than the cars. Didn't know it was possible for the game to be more frustrating

My biggest mistake in games is not fully utilizing my inventory. If I have fists, pop up and get out real quick, shoot an arrow or beam from above. Or staying still for too long. This season is about movement (where TF did he go?!) and beaming them with low recoil or vehicles. Surprise is your friend, and so is beaming!

This season has been a lot of fun, I've won a lot of games hunting and destroying mythical cars. After that, I usually destroy my own car and have normal fights at the end game.

Honestly the season is more fun if you just not try/troll/mess around. I used to be huge on just winning solos, getting high rank, etc. If you try that now it's very frustrating with the chaos/cars. Now I've just been hopping into unranked, griefing every car I see by chasing/shooting them, running if someone comes at me with one, using the gloves to just smack people/gloves around and just trying silly stuff. If I win, cool, but honestly I've just been playing this as a different game and not caring and just goofing around. While I still think this season is butt cheeks it's better if you just not care.

First season I’ve experienced, not a fan of the cars but it is what it is. 🤷‍♂️ Good game, anticipating its future.

7:45 oh wait you don't need to be properly swinging to do the pickaxe trick? Like you were still switching to your pick and it still works... I guess... I guess, yeah I don't see why it wouldn't work,but in my mind you had to start swinging properly before it works, and that made executing it a million times harder, cause I need to plan from like 2 seconds earlier.

What do you do when a player jumps in your car and your playing solo’s?

Mostly sometimes it will be the gloves that I'll die by sometimes I've been now getting better at shooting the cars and blowing those up a little bit but they're still kind of hard to kill and then mostly it's just my teammate sometimes when they're down I mostly go down myself because I'm trying to fight like three kids

I hope this season is short because it sucks.

Im starting to get used to these car fights and its starting to get a little more fun. That said it defs feel like some of these matches are way way way way way way way way way way way way way, WAY random and up to luck

I made the mistake of hiring an NPC who took the turret. The problem is that I ran into someone who did the same thing, and the fight lasted about 20 minutes.

It's kind of funny but just before this vid I placed second....after watching this, today, I WON a battle! Judicious use of Bow and NitroFists...I have also been destroying car upgrade boxes whenever I see them....not sure if they respawn.....

Was absolutely loving this season until everyone started teaming in solos. Gotten down to the remaining ten to have a load of cars rolling around with duos. Epic need to address this or just throw the rule book out the window.

2:52 I don't think NPCs are completely troublesome, you can always use the commands to manipulate them. Like say they do ride shotgun and you want them to leave to make room for your teammate you can command them to move, then have your teammate hop in, then command the NPC to start following you again on foot to which they'll do a lot of teleporting to catch up when you're driving around.

I think counter to point 1 is players are too attached to their cars. And it's likely the video was done before the following balance changes, so fair enough 👍🏾 Now with the EMPs, tri-lasers and Impact sniper, cars are more balanced. If I have a good anti-vehicle loadout, I can lull people into a false sense of security end game which is fun :)

And I made the mistake of taking an extended peak with a car. Or just me alone against a car won't go well either.

m just still trying to balance my load out. I run, as a anti-car, Ar + smg + shotgun (faster damage), then heals or a shockwave or nitro fists. I try to get a turret on my car since I kinda use it as longer range and to shred cars.

Okay, maybe I'm losing my mind here, but it's Season 5, Chapter 3... I don't know why people keep saying that it's the 1st or 3rd Season in the 5th Chapter because that's not how the order has gone. The chapters are the subsections of the season, that's why it's called a SEASON PASS (AKA: Battle Pass)

Anyone else notice how weird crouching/sliding has been lately? Specifically jumping after a sprint and trying to slide

I remember last year this time in c5 season 3 you had 79k subs

I hate my self but I did it, I finally won. Not only I learned how to stay in my car, never leave away from my car. But also if my car gets blown I get in an other car. literally make sure you have a car at all time until there are no more cars to be had. Do not try to shoot down a car with a turret on your feet ... instant lost. They really turned this in to Mad Max. How cares if you have half damage a car with 1 mag AR. A car can kill you almost instantly with a turret.

I gotta admit, I am a fan of the Scorched Earth strategy

Adapt or die is fortnite so idont mind for a season to use cars

I've won 7 games without using a car

Best car killer: land at the mythic car poi and destroy boss cars so they are not in mid-end game. This forces normal cars which are much easier to destroy. If everyone takes out boss cars upon landing we can play Fortnite again and force car players to fight.

Currently I have played 1 game with a 100% win rate this season so I’m just better than yall

People saying “stop whining” but it’s literally a completely different game and some ppl enjoy normal fortnite. They should just add an og battle royale mode with a balanced weapon pool (snipers, rpgs, scars, some movement) and regular vehicles

Not a fan of the whole Car scene. If I wanted to play a car game I would have gotten one. This is so boring driving around and running over people. Hopefully this goes away next season, If not I'll move on to something else.

im having fun with the season so far, but there does need to be changes. you should be able to destroy turrets off of cars, and more emp options are needed. i have a feeling the magneto mythic will be anti car and op

Great tips. Like you said just loot up and get in a car. If your not in a car, your dead.

Remember in duos and beyond, the npc will prioritize getting inside the car when the person who hires them enters one. So unless you use team coms to get the npc to wait, let somebody else who didn’t hire one get in first before you do.

Everyone hates on this season but it's honestly just fun to have something so crazy and new. Like they're gonna nerf the shit and add ways to counter vehicles, it's really not as big a deal until they nerf everything imo.

The last two tips have gotten me so many elims this season. I'll hop in another players turret and then when if they ever slow down i'll hop in the backseat and pickaxe them.

I'm a fairly new player. Started playing a week or so before the new season. Why does it seem like I am way worse at the game than I was before?? Or am I imagining it lol

watching you is really boring like 15 minutes of yapping, also the fact that you dont care and dont put any sections or timestamps hurts this could be condensed into 3 minute formats or a toilet read... you wont grow if you keep this up!!!!

Id Like the Game to be slower and less sweaty so you dont have to mash your buttons while fighting and being more able to be sneaky while getting around. So the carfights are interesting but just too intense for me
