Also study shows if you come up a lil and lean it gove more quad productivity this is how o do mines and gain much results

@@evicaf4e Rather than having your upper body leaning back as in the video, you should lean forward. That increase your quad recruitment.

I will try this because lean forward lil bit or normal position I can only feel lateral and medial heads not femoris, my femoris head is underdeveloped. and please do more videos on how to grow all heads individually. Thanks😊

I’m sorry but the main reason why this exercise is so good Is because this is one of the only machines that allows the quote to be worked and I’ll shorten position. People are most weakest in the shorten range of the quads which means this is the biggest area that people can grow. Therefore by having the quads and rectus for Morus shortened at the hip allowed for maximum shortening at the quad. This will result in better growth

I'm at a loss, my form looks exactly like this but my working set is 250 and I've been able to keep 12 reps consistent with the whole stack as my max, am I doing something wrong? Feel like the stack is being too easy, I feel like I'm doing something wrong cause I'm only 2yrs into extensions, and from what I can tell the whole stack is too out of reach to even 20yr gim goers

I would not worry about the rec fem too much when it comes to leg extension. Leg extension are more appropriate for the quad muscles that are only crossing the knee joint. Rec fem crosses both the knee and hip therefore gets a ton of stimulus with leg presses, hack squats etc.

Apart from that this is the only exercise in which you can fully shorten the quad so why would you try to lengthen it by leaning back?

It’s actually the opposite. The rec fem gets minimal stimulus during squats and leg press because you have simultaneous movement @ the hip and the knee, not allowing for adequate lengthening and shortening of the rec fem. The leg extension and reverse nordics/sissy squats are the only movements that will really allow the rec fem to receive an optimal stimulus
