Alley 192 - I think for me the highlight here really is the Bo Bia. Everybody on this street however is a treat to be with and it is so cool to get in here and see how this one alley has so much to offer. goo.gl/maps/ysT89yc6hVV9JSf39
As an American when I travel to other countries, I feel like we are ambassadors, representing our country and culture. Max is so kind and his knowledge of the language is so good that he instantly helps bridge the gap between cultures and bring out the best in the people he encounters. I love your videos, and I hope you keep making them. I can’t wait to visit Vietnam. ❤
@@jaygriddles It's super nice and chilled out even the Quy Nhon city beach is nice. There's loads of delicious food. People are nice. A few different mountains you can climb for some sick views. Rent a bike and visit different beaches - the coastal road is stunning. There's lots of little fishing villages along the coast. We're pretty much chilling out here not doing much just relaxing. Enjoy your trip mate.
Wishing you success, Max! Thank you for being so kind and polite to everyone you meet, even to the lady selling lottery ticket. Too often people look down on them when they’re just making a living.
Been to Vietnam last year, going again in October. I never bought lottery tickets, but a couple of tour guides did and I always tried to offer some extra money to them for it. My question is: if a foreigner wins, can they collect? I would rather just give money, but I know that isn’t always accepted. They are proud of working, but I was always worried about winning. Sorry if this doesn’t even make sense.
Viet people are so generous but it’s also that you’re a good person Max. Don’t forget to pay it forward ! Keep making these videos of the awesome people of Vietnam and their cuisines.
Chúc mọi người sức khoẻ , an vui 😍🤩👍👍.
Just found your channel and watching you interact with the people and local establishments warms my heart. A few years ago I got to work down in the US and met a Vietnamese guy who became one of my closest friends, he introduced me to a whole world of cuisine from his side of the world that blew my mind and taste buds.
Hi Max…I’m from Hawaii. Love your videos here on RU-vid. Your Vietnamese is really good and you're such a very nice and considerate guy. I'm Vietnamese but you speak better than me. .. I saw all the places you’ve went so when I go back to Saigon, I’m go to check them out. Thank you my friend and keep on posting🙏😍
I have just started to watching your content recently, and I have to say I love all of them. No matter where you go, the interactions are always incredibly authentic and wholesome; I am always left smiling at the end of each video. Keep being you, Max!
bro no wayy , I used to live on Nhật Tảo street near this place, that Mỳ Sườn was like my childhood fav dish, my mom still tell me memories about that Mỳ Sườn place at the entrance of an alley. I dont know is the place you went really the place I ate before but after nearly a decade haven't seen that dish, there no way that I wont come to try it. Thanks Max, you made my day .
good stuff max, I like the links in the description to plug the spots. the hospitality towards vloggers like yourself is outstanding. , its like a different world here in the U.S....make me wonder sometimes.
Hi max. May co ban hàng mến khách phương xa friendly quá Chúc các gian hàng buôn bán thuận lợi nhé Chúc max và gia đình cùng mọi người xem kênh max. Vui khỏe nhé. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Max - You seem so comfortable living in Vietnam. I hope one day you will have a video in which you speak Vietnamese entirely. It's going to be interesting. As long as there is English subtitle, I'm good. LOL. Have a wonderful day.
As I know, Bo Bia is the Chinese dish and A Hon is the way Chinese people call each other in the friendly way. They normally have A before the name (for both male and female). All the vendors in the alley looks Chinese Vietnamese to me also the noodle shop ( I might be wrong 😅) Max has so much knowledge about food and you can joke in Vietnamese 😂
Wow Max your Vietnamese are so much better bro! I’m so happy to see that. I don’t see you and Cris for a while, I thought you went back to Ark. I told my son to watch your videos. He is living in Greenwood, AR and I’m planning to visit Vietnam soon.
OMG this noodle place has been there since my mom and dad were dating in there 20s lol. Bow they are in their 60s. My whole family is a big fan of their braised short ribs noodle soup. 😅😅😅
Max my darling, I just love the way you always ask if you can film. So many RU-vidrs don't, and then bang on like a sovereign citizen about how they have a right to film if someone has concerns about being used in a vlog. I am often confronted by the antics of the flight review crowd in particular. Oh, and do keep up the good work. I'm using your channel as my primary source of knowledge for the planning of a forthcoming food focused trip. It is great to see dishes and places beyond what Obama and Anthony Bourdain munched down on a decade or so ago.
Next time try out the “mì sườn khô” version. :)Thanks for sharing this content. I’ve never seen any other channels review these street vendors (or maybe I have not watched enough of them). We have been eating here since parents started dating then they had us (me and my sibling) and brought us here almost every weekend. And now I’m bringing my little family here. This is what we call “mùi vị tuổi thơ”
Max, I think you misunderstood the lady. She only on the house the bò bía that is her mom, but not the noodle. So you still old the guys the noodle and the nuoc mi'a.
fun fact. vietnams gdp per capita went from 3720USD to 4200USD from 2021 to 2022. thats a 13% jump....vietnam is growing fast. great place to plant some roots cause the living standard is just going up, unlike in the west where living standard is going down for most people.
Hi Max, another great video! I noticed that in your videos, you usually say "How long have you been selling something?" in Vietnamese "Cô có bán bao nhiêu năm rồi", and the word CÓ here is not necessary ^^ you could just say "Dạ cô bán bao nhiêu năm rồi?" and it's totally natural like a Viet :D Anw, love your videos so so so much man :D
Another great video. You show me all the spots. I had that vegan buffet the other day. Amazing. did my little own vlog on it too. Thanks man. I really like your channel. My friends that just moved here from Colorado watch you too. Keep up the good work.
