@luke5704 I really don't know how to help you with windows movie maker, being that I've barely used it and I'm confused with it as well. I use Ulead Video Studio for editing, but it costs money.

@thegangstajack I own a digital camera, yes, but it's incompatible with the software that makes stop motion much easier.

@gubster511 for istopmotion you will need a camera that is compatible with a firewire cable, be sure to go to their website, they have a whole selection of cameras that are and aren't compatibale

@YurraTheMerkinized I had it set to 360p, because I didn't really care about video quality. But the pictures it takes look much better than the video.

I use Microsoft movie maker and a canon EO5 to my stop motion movies and I find it works the same as yours if you set it to 20 frames per second. Thanks for the advice though!!! P.S. When will 501st legion VI be coming?

HeliumFrog doesnt work because when i start it i select the webcam and then press continue but then it says that it stopped working. not sure what to do about that.

@Soramix2 Sorry, the most practical way to make stop motion is with a webcam. And that's the way I know how to do it.

@FalamfalaFilms I stated in the video that the quality is better, but not worth the hundreds of dollars extra, IMO.

@thegangstajack In my stopmotions so far I have used a digital Kodak camera in my stopmotions. But, I recently switched to a Sony Camcorder that takes pictures and everything is much, much better. There is a popular stopmotioner on here, Zoot101, who used a webcam in a few videos but decided to go to a Sony camcorder with better quality so it really depends on the camera. But if you have money to spare, buy a webcam or camcorder. That's my advice. (I'm not pizzamovies.)
