Based on how the 3 new prizes are a gamer pic, the Banjo-Kazooie theme (I assume it's a theme for the X-Box profile.), and Stop N Swop II, I personally believe those weren't the original planned rewards for the Nintendo 64, but I bet Rare won't even remember what the green, red, or aqua eggs were originally meant for. They were nice enough to give us the blue, pink and yellow eggs and the Ice Key in the N64 version, even if we didn't get the eggs like they originally planned.
If I ever have enough money, i will buy the rights to the series and make REAL sequel. In fact, we should raise money so we can give the rights to someone like these guys.
I thought the Game Paks are in but they have Stop N' Swop II eggs. The achievement system is smart, it allows SNSII to be on 720 if it takes that long.
It's kinda sad that they never released this game in HD for Gamecube . I had a 64, but it was broken. And I can't afford a X-Box 360 either. I hope one day that they will release this game for Wii (U).
This feature was replaced out in Banjo Tooie for the N64, because, before Tooie's release, Nintendo changed the RAM power capaciator size to a shorter-life one, which decreased the RAM data retention time from 10 seconds to 1 second to save on production costs and prevent savegame data corruption of other games. It was rewritted to be completed in Banjo Tooie for the Xbox Live Arcade. For the N64, they moved these prizes to other objects.
the ice key does the same as it does on the N64, unlocks the Mega Glowbo safe so u can give it to Humba Wumba to turn Kazooie into a dragon, as for BK: N&B, if u get to certain parts of Showdown Town bearing a mark representing its respective item (for example, in the case of the ice key, Boggy's Gym's roof) you'll get a special part crate that has an accesory used to pimp yer ride visually (one example bein a british flag), you can only get the special crates if u found the item in BK1 though
If this means that Banjo-Threeie will come out as a true sequel, either in retail or XBLA, I will be the happiest person on this planet by quite a margin.
To think that Stop'n swop actually happened.. even if its 10 years later than expected xD. Im just glad it got done.. Now we just have to wait for SnS II
eggs idk abought what they give you but the key was used in banjo-tooie by swapping the game out from banjo-kazooie to banjo-tooie so the key could be transfer over to get dragon kazooie but the scratched the ideal to avoid lawsuits because of newer n64 had a memory of 1sec when you take the game out unlike the older version which had 10sec memory giving you time to take the game out and putting the other game in and that was it called stop n swop stop the game and swap it out for the other game
Poorbit knows what he's talking about- the developers themselves actually revealed that. It was just left in the game, probably because they detected the problem late. It would have been cheaper to just make it inaccessible, as it was. Fun fact: the later a fault is detected in a software project, the greater the cost of fixing it. For example, something which costs $1 to fix in the Analysis stage costs roughly $200 to fix in the Implementation stage of the classical waterfall model.
its said something about the nuts and bolts dlc when I returned all the stop n swap items in banjo-kazooie. I was wandering if it said the same thing to anyone else?
It unlocks a safe and reveals a giant glowbo and if you bring it to humba wumba you can turn kazooie into a dragon and keep her a dragon through all the levels of the game p.s. I love your vids😎😎😎😎
Whoa! Explain to me what was in the Red and Cyan Eggs! And what do the cartridge eggs do? Well, to get to the point...YES!!! AFTER 11 FREAKIN' YEARS, RARE HAS GIVEN US STOP N SWOP!!!!
I beat tooie on live today and somewhere in the middle of the game i unlocked another phrase towards tooie. I think it was from getting all 90 jiggies.
Theres a very good chance of a next one. At the end of N&B Banjo and kazooie get there original powers back, and Grunty is starting to make a new game talking about finaly beating them. Hope theres next :D
@Revan1350 yeah you only have to buy internet for the 360, banjo kazooie 1, banjo kazooie 2, banjo kazooie nuts and bolts and the expansion LOG's quest
The irritating thing is, we STILL don't know what was meant to be in some of those eggs before. A couple contain a BK theme and a Gamerpic, and those wouldn't have been on the N64.
Very cool. Kinda makes me want to get an X-Box... O.K. not that much but still. Speaking of this game. If SnS works like this now. what happened to the N64's Version. Do they still have things there, did they remove them, or is there something new?
@Komische1Frage yeah if i were rare when developing banjo-tooie, i wouldve had one of the secrets be a link between bk and bt, that wouldve been sick, like have the rocks in grunty's lair disappear and be able to roam around
@darkriku197 To be honest, That wasn't what I was asking about. I knew about that Already. meant Banjo-Tooie's "Stop n Swop" items that you would find by breaking open "Banjo Kazookie Game Paks". Thankfully I DID eventually find out my answer. Apparently they are replaced in the X-box Version with NEW Stop n Swop Items for this "Stop n Swop 2", whatever that will be.
Yeah. It seems like those of us who speculated were right: we get the same stuff like in the N64 version but it takes longer to get it. The only difference was the theme, the pic, and the freakin' Stop N' Swop 2 thing which means a lot of players are going to once again lose sleep over this. Thanks Rare. You brought back SnS only to leave gamers in the fog about a possible SnS 2. -_-
ive gotta get myself some points this is the game ive been waiting for years to get and now i finaly have the chance gotta love rare and the memories they bring back p.s can someone tell me how you get the eggs in banjo kazooie xbla
Hey didnt anyone notice that in the Original BT the yellow egg was above heggy on the top bunker? and you had to be Kazooie in order to hatch it? (Note: in the Original BT there was only the Blue, Pink and Yellow eggs, AND the Ice Key)
Got to be kidding me dude. Once again, the Game Paks are still there. Except this time, you can only find them when Stop N' Swop is unlocked. I like the achievement system with SNS II. NOW DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!
wait, sorry, haven't played tooie in forever but.... don't you already unlock homming eggs and the beakbash or watever it's called further in the game? If so this kinda killed the 10 year anticipation =_=;
This is what happens when you trust something that says Stop N Swop will unlock something "better than Dragon Kazooie" as a method of hype. Wait, aren't there still three eggs out there? And what happened to the B-K cartridges from the 64 version Tooie? They can't still be bouncing around can they?
These should'nt be the real prizes. Rare went from Microsoft and they are making their own business now... It's like Ron Gilbert and Monkey Island. We will never know, how it would have been done, unless we would ask the one who invented it ^^
the first ones clearly werent their original intentions, that pisses me off. we knew the other ones it was those first two that evry one was hacking for
On the Banjo-Tooie there is going to be 9 eggs altogether and the jinjos are unlockable by smashing a boulder in the game to unlock the so the video IS fake
Rare HAS confirmed that NB is a true BK. Anyways, I don't see what's so bad about it. As a Banjo, it doesn't fit the series very well, but as a game alone, it's great.
if this rare does what I think they will (oh and they WILL), then the ice key should lead to dragon-kazooie with fire breath and infinite fire eggs. I'm serious--if you don't believe me, go buy an N64 and Banjo tooie--it'll probably cost the same as the XBLA version, but without the fact that you have to get lame things like gamerpics. I mean, come on, how hard is it to give the player infiniteteverything and just change all the numbers to say "LOTS" ohh yes, that was a cheat in the origional.
