FYI - Point 1 isn’t about influencers, constructive criticism or having an opinion. It also has nothing to do with the person on the receiving end and what they should do or expect.
I am incredibly thankful for influencers like you that don’t buy wasteful quantities of clothing and I don’t think that I am alone with this opinion. I‘d rather see you styling old pieces in interesting ways, instead of seeing you buying clothes that are destined to get thrown out. Keep at it.

“You NEED to get out of your comfort zone” Nah if you already found your formula and you feel like you have arrived at a point of your style that makes you happy, then there really is no urgency to start experimenting in the chase of pleasing other people. Gotta respect that. It’s almost like finishing a any% run in fashion.
Totally agree with this. I think I’ve found my secret formula for my own personal style and it works! I don’t think it needs to evolve further past this point. Many people need to just relax and evolve organically, no need to rush the process when it comes to style and being comfortable in your own skin.
getting out of your comfort zone doesnt mean you cannot wear what you like and works for you, you could wear all the clothes you like 90% of the time and then the 10% would be new clothes you havent ever worn before to try out different styles, if you dont step out of your comfort zone then you will never know if there's a style you could be really into

As a fashion student, I appreciate this video. Tired of seeing other fashion students trying to be next quirky designer by sticking together the weirdest stuff that even make sense , there’s no intricacy, simplicity or thought behind it, they just want to be seen as “out there” and “avant-garde”, a term which I think too many like to appropriate without understanding what it actually means.
How is it trying to get a fashion degree? Would you say its worth it? Theres more too it but why did u choose to study fashion in a few words if u dont mind.
Overspending on fashion,and overexposing yourself on line are 2 things that I agree on being unhealthy behaviors. Also,simple dressing is much more relatable than always being OOT
I hate the whole ‘skinny jeans are ugly’ trend. Yeah spray on jeans don’t look great, but a pair of skinny jeans are perfectly fine 😂 They can look great with the right cut!
I just seen your point about criticising others online and you are absolutely right. I removed 2 comments I left on 2 other videos because I made that mistake myself just now. I guess sitting behind a keyboard it’s easy to let your personal preferences or thoughts in the moment get the best of you and express in a negative way that was not very productive. Something I will definitely be more mindful of in the future
No one who is spending £10k a month on clothing is spending £10k on clothing. They are being paid in clothing which has a retail value of £10k and is basically worth less than half of that the moment it leaves the shop.

Great video! I think people may want to consider behaving as if in real-life situations rather than typing out rude comments without thinking about how that could affect others. It is sad to see how certain people feel the need to express their opinions so aggressively.

Great video, man. The point of this community is, or should be, sharing our excitement with fashion. Not bragging or busting each other's chops for no good reason. And I totally agree with your take on oversharing online. I do admire and appreciate the way you keep your private life private. That doesn't stop your audience from caring. On the contrary, I think it helps to keep things healthy.
We should stop normalizing the simplistic movement hate on graphic stuff. Yeah some graphic sucks but when done correctly it really make your style pop.
about spending a lot on fashion- some of my wealthy acquaintances absolutely HATES me going out with them. I am the one who gets all the compliments from strangers for wearing something not 'on trend' but carefully curated outfits with a touch of sharp quirkiness out of consignment, outlet or high street shops, while most of them go totally unnoticed in their £5k logo-covered outfits 😅
I think people should be able to express themselves and tell if they don't like certain trend or fashion but the at the same time they need to do it in a respectable way
As a men fashion content creator, I do experience the same problem or trend in regards to showing off new stuff per content. Im a very small content creator, and pushing new stuff is hard as I dont really have budget to keep buying new stuff. However, I dont mind wearing the same stuff over and over again. I got people commenting or asking for ID for an item that I bought 2 or 3 years ago. But there are trolls out there who likes to bash content creator for wearing the same thing.

I think its really good to have a balanced wardrobe with a theme along with different proportions. For example, you can do western/americana style with skinny jeans or baggy jeans. Formal can be done with a slim or straight/relaxed silouette as well. I personally own jeans from various cuts from relaxed to flared to skinny. They all fit into my wardrobe in some way and can be worn with multiple different outfits. That is the key.

Your point, Harry, about out there outfits reminds me of what the villain Syndrome said in The Incredibles: “When everyone is super, no one is”. Meaning if we’re all wearing these attention-grabbing outfits, then where’s the novelty in something that’s unique or different? It just comes off as too disingenuous.
I leave negative and toxic comments about men wearing formalwear, because that's exactly what they do to me for wearing a casual street style. I'm just giving them the same energy they give everyone else. Formalwear people are toxic.
Love this video mate. I don’t think sincere, constructive critique is neccassarilly negative, but there are plenty of people out there who are ruthless and cruel in their comments to creators, who need to rein it in. Content creators are the best sort people, putting their feelings on the line for the endeavour of creative expression. You guys make yourselves very vulnerable, and people need to have a bit more grace and class before ripping into them. It’s bad Karma. I only use instagram beyond RU-vid, but it seems like Gen Z are much nastier than we millennials were with social media.
I'm tired of the overconsumption that comes with influencers just getting free stuff from brands. It's not very good for my mental (or more importantly the environment) when I see a youtuber's pick up haul be 10 times more costly than all the clothing I've bought in the last 3 years. It really pisses me off when then the same mfs will preach about making better decisions and making less mistakes when they're literally the problem.
Mr. Had I enjoyed the video and feel you’re points as sensible. I think part of the whole personal life overexposure started due to creators feeling they couldn’t squeeze more content out of clothes, especially if the creator is trying not to over spend on a wardrobe.

I don’t see how at my weight and my quad size I’ll ever wear skinny jeans ever again. Straight and wide jeans just objectively look better. Skinny people benefit from being able to wear both styles so they can cycle tends
I still wear combination of wide fit jeans sometimes and then slim fit others, i really just depends. But the whole bashing one fit of jeans vs another is crazy haha. I can never really wear super skinny jeans like the skaters do, my legs are too big for that.
my shirts are no brand, they are more or less than $3-4, most of my shoes are fake but i really don't care, if someone ask me if it's fake.. i just tell them it's fake, i'm not pretending..🤣😅😁🤷😂
I have no problem voicing negative opinions online if someone is out there in the fashion space, it’s common in sports, music etc…if you post yourself as a “fashion” person, opinions will flow in
Fashion has a lot of problems. Judgemental people, paying a lot just for the logo, people not earning a fair amount. A lot we still as a society have to work on.
