I was just about to get one of these until I saw your video - Thanks for showing what you DON'T get without a subscription. The lack of sensing regions and block-out regions will be a deal breaker for some people, like me. This is due to local legal reasons and not a preference. Those functions should be standard, as they are on most modern doorbell cameras. You can get in trouble for recording your neighbors, especially in 2K. The makers of this doorbell should know this. Note: I did want to mention that a few years back we actually had the police canvas the area asking people about their exterior video devices and reminding us that we should not record or obviously aim the device at ones neighbor. Apparently, in their eyes, a live stream was OK, but if there is any recording, even for a few days like the Lindo, that was a issue. Yes, like you say in the video, Lindo should really rethink that.
Yea, I'm not sure why such basic functionality wouldn't be present by default. Btw, don't even bother looking at Blink's products either because they have lots of features trapped behind subscription plans. I've used a eufy doorbell and Reolink doorbell, which both worked great and have tons of features.

@@DemCrumblies hi! My chime keeps blinking red, and it seems to lag when opening the app. I think I need to play with it more, it does notify me IMMEDIATELY when someone comes to my door though which is nice.
@@Lazy_crazy_daisy Hey Morgan, yep, my chime also blinks red sometimes and sometimes it blinks white or stays solid white, but regardless of the lights, it still chimes when the ringer is pressed. You can go into the Chime settings in the app and turn off the Chime LED if you find it distracting btw. Regarding the lag, Do you know the KB/s when you pull up live view? Mine is around 150 to 220, but it varies quite a lot. You can try going to User -> About -> and clearing the local cache to see if it helps, but yea the opening time can vary from a few seconds to longer. Very rarely it times out completely, and I have to try a second time.
Hey sorry for the late reply, yes, this will work in any country since it uses battery power instead of hard wiring. The battery life will really depend on how busy the front area of your home is and how sensitive you set the motion detection. It can probably last between 2 to 4 months realistically, but again, it will depend on how busy the area where you live is and the motion detection sensitivity. Of course you can setup activity zones to limit detections. Yes, it does have human detection and you can manually choose to record live view whenever you like because if you watch live view and nothing notable is detected, it won't record it as it is a motion based system without continuous 24/7 recording.
