i was married to a guy 2 years ago and he was addicted to porn,video games,getting fired from different jobs..., i told my mother in law the situation and she did absolutely nothing. she said nobody have to know the problems you have with your husband , try to fix it by yourself , and i did, i DIVORCED that idiot. update: after two years i came to check the comments! and oh my god! Have you ever lived with a guy who play video games 24/7?! and i mean it, 24/7! He got fired couple of times bc he used to sleep very late at night and wasnt be able to wake up next day to go to work, only bc of video games! I dont mind it occasionally but not that much! he used to start a fight in middle of the street to just go home and play, after me begging him to lets go out for an hour! If you still think that all this, is ok, I promise you that you will have really big issues in the future with your partnet.

OMG! I LOVE this young man's mother. That is REAL parenting; A bad parent would take the easy way out and defend him, claim that they were doing it bc they "love" him, believe everything he said, go along in calling the girl a slut, and so on, and so on. It must have been so difficult for her to go against her own son and do all she did in order to try and help the baby's mother, so I give her a ton of credit. Hopefully, now that he can't BS that the kid isn't his anymore, he'll AT LEAST help out with money, and HOPEFULLY come and visit the baby and help care for him. And if nothing else, at least the baby will have a loving mother and at least one loving grandmother (no hate to the maternal grandmother, they just didn't mention her haha).

Best mom ever. As a strong muslim believer, our parents only say things to us because they want us to be the best version of ourselves. You could hear the pain in her voice when she simply wants her son to be a better husband and father. May allah bless this woman for standing up for the mother of her grandchild and may allah swt guide her son back to the straight path. I wouldn't be surprised if this woman divorced that man for being a bum. One of my worst fears in life is becoming similar to this guy who doesn't care for his wife, the advice of his mother, nor his own child. My niece is someone who I love as if they're my own child. I literally treat her like my daughter and I love her and her sister more than anything, I don't know how this man feels nothing towards that child and how he can't trust his wife. Why get married if you don't trust the person you're spending the rest of your life with. I just hope things turn around for the better for the wife or mom, whether it means leaving him to create a better future for the child or him stepping up to his responsibility.
