It will be a collision with most likely me exiting my laneway. Very valid reasoning for traffic control for stop sign there. You dont appear very bright. Huh? There is a stop sign there. I didnt put it there, I didnt ask for it there, thats just basic traffic safety protocol as done by the municipality. I am still wondering what exactly your point is here? Unless of course, youre one of the drivers in the video.
@@mbsevans I think his point is that the stop sign should not be there in the first place because stop signs are meant for intersections which this is not. Stopping at this stop sign would be redundant because there is no chance of a collision occurring from making a left without stopping. His point is he finds it crazier that you get so bothered by this that you spent your time putting this video together for a stop sign that shouldn't even exist in the roads current state. It would be more logical for you to find outrage that the sign is there in the first place, Think of the money your municipality wasted putting up a redundant sign, Think of how this affects traffic, if its a busier time of day instead of keeping a steady flow of traffic now everyone is forced to stop when they shouldn't have to. Would it be moral for your municipality to put up more redundant signs on our roadways and would it be moral for them to punish you for not following them?

So any of these clowns blowing through the stop sign as you currently see it, are coming right at me…as I pull out on my bike or in my SUV, and when I arrive home…I back into my laneway and they are going to come around the corner like you see and boom right into the side of me. Furthermore moron, we have children that ride their bicycles down the street, there is no sidewalk down street to the left here and dont even get me started on the excessive speed up and down our street. The stop sign was placed there for a very good reason vehicular and pedestrian safety. Perhaps I should do a video of the other stop sign to the extreme right of this image. @@mbsevans Yeah, im looking at your house right now, Single story Duplex with the 2 car Garage. You have perfect visibility to your right and its not a blind corner at all, Even if it was the responsibility is on you to yield to all traffic before you pull out of your driveway. The stop sign is not there to make it so you can safely pull out of your driveway, its there because the state obviously plans to extend Church St so the sign was placed there ahead of time. Once that happens the sign will have a use but as for now it is redundant for the sign to be there. I think I understand your issue now, It would appear Kaydan Dr was recently paved, im guessing there must have been a reason for that. My guess is they recently built something behind your house and the nice view you use to have is obstructed but an apartment complex now which has led you to resent the people who now use Kayden Dr so you want to make them pay by reporting them to the police for not stopping at a sign that shouldn't be placed there in the first place. Good luck with that, but based on the response in the comments no one thinks youre in the right so I doubt the police will either.
I think a lot of people run the stop because it's a very unusual use of a stop sign. Most 90 degree left turns without any cross traffic don't have stop signs. I don't doubt that people stopping there would help the person who has to back on to the road there, but backing out of that driveway is already safer than most since the other car's visibility on that driveway is much longer that way than most people in that neighborhood get.
This boomer is just angry that he needs to share the road now, that road that is in the video was only installed about a year or 2 ago so now hes having a hissy fit that there is people driving around his house not stopping at a sign that shouldnt even be there in the first place.
