What an amazing find at Pickerton. Pickerton is my famous claim named for all the gold pickers found in bedrock cracks. But sometimes you find gold even bigger than pickers. Dad and I had an amazing day gold panning and found one of these awesome pieces of gold.

Great job Dan and Dad Enjoyed watching you and your dad today. I was born on my dad's birthday when he was 33 I'm 60 now and he's 93 still doing everything himself including playing pool a couple days a week. Glad to see you guys having a good time together hold on to the time you can spend together you can never make it up after time goes by. Take Care and have a restful Sunday afternoon..

I agree. This would make a good video from an experienced prospector. Not just the basics of how but also things we should know, things he wish he knew when he started. How to from a genuine expert on the topic.

I totally agree! I hate that horrible, artificial noise drowning out nature's beautiful soundtrack. So many RU-vid videos use this kind of awful noise as their "music" 😖 It's not cool - It's annoying. Makes me wanna mute them. More natural sounds, please 🙏🏼

I got a big thick flake last weekend at my claim we called the Heart Flake, looks alot like the ones you got earlier in the video and heart shaped like those. It was a small picker anyway. It's so exciting!

When using built-in mic, distance is much more important than direction. Your voice a foot from the back of the mic is much, much clearer than Dad's voice at 10 feet.
