Wow, this video was something else. I thought it was going to be about apex at first but then you just continued talking about your experience and it just made me warm in some way. I guess I understand what you mean about listening to others after this video. Instead of listening to an older lady talking about horses or a father talking about their son I was listening to you and what you like to do. Keep uploading the videos cause I want more of this. Fr listening to others actually make u develop or get interested in something new! I’m glad to have a friend that listens to me talking abt apex stuff, he didn’t interrupt me at all altho I was spitting so many things, and now he’s like,’after hearing so much of apex from u, I’m kinda interested ngl’ listening to people not only make u happy, it makes the other guy happier too! We all love sharing our passions right? Listening to the other one at first may seem boring, after that u feel glad that u made him/her happy! Not inserting urself to things people are talking makes them keep continuing and it might seem hard but hey what’s better than making someone’s day, the more good you do to others, the more u get! Also I was so excited that I screamed when I saw myself in the vid lol

This reminds me of a friend I have. He is huge into Elden Ring, like he plays it constantly. I, on the other hand, have never touched the game. But whenever there’s a new mod he found, news about dlc, etc. he’ll talk to me about it. I don’t understand all of it, but it’s awesome to listen to him talk about something he’s so passionate about, and I even have found myself looking forward to when the dlc comes out so that he’ll be excited and have stuff to tell me. It’s always shocking how enjoyable listening is. I always try very hard to listen to people and because of that it’s pretty easy for me to make friends. The only issue I have is I always have a fear of talking too much, so I often stay much quieter than I need to be.
I love that. One advice I have for you that I’ve learned over the years is that you can also have time to talk when you’ve let your friend talk about his topic like elden ring enough. You can even ask something like, “wow man, thanks for sharing. I love that. may I talk about _? I wanna share with you something super cool I learned.” And then bam, you’re good to go. At first it’s weird, but it really does help in balancing a conversation.
@@SonyxApexGuides Yeah I’ve got one friend I’ve become more close with that will always try to get me to actually talk. Like he’ll ask how I am and I’ll just say “I’m alright.” Which isn’t always the case, and he always seems to sense when I’m not alright and forces me (in a good way) to talk about it. I try to do the same for him, and having a balanced convo where two people genuinely care about what the other is saying is awesome
I think a major reason why we struggle to listen to people is because there is so much we want to say that we focus on the things we're really want to say instead on whats actually being said, which naturally causes us to lose focus on whom we suppose to be listening to. I bet this is the result of our way of life, where we always are distracted or have something to do like work, vacation, etc. This makes it hard for us to interact with friends and family, and what this will essentialy do is cause us to have like a "build up" of things we really want to put out there. So when we eventually meet our friends and or family, or just some stranger. We'll have so much to tell them that we can't really pick one thing. So we just end up brainstorming when we should be listening.
Yeah I can totally agree with that. We don't really sit in silence anymore, because while sitting with someone we just think about what to say next instead of absorbing what their speaking. it's honestly quite sad. As you've mentioned, we have a lot of "filler" and sitting in the silence for many of us is just weird.

Asking the right questions at the right time. its not always easy, coming from someone who has done a lot of listening. It's almost an art with communication. it sounds like you are doing this without even realizing. kudos! Thank you for sharing your story. there's a lot of good stuff there man.
It’s true! And the questions have to go deeper. Not like “so do you like doing that?” Because this gives an option of “yes” or “no.” Instead, we can go, “WHY do you like doing that?” That makes it more open-ended and can bring the conversation to a whole new level. It sounds like you’re a great communicator as well. Keep it up. 🧡
I have a close friend maybe I'm not as close to them as they are to me but that's another topic, they're going to graduate soon and I couldn't be more proud of them, they says they're unhelpable they don't see themselves for all they are, they're also introverted and I just wish that they could know that the only thing I hold in my heart for them is love, and appreciation, I wish they could just know how big they are to so many people and not have it weigh on their mind, for them to know it's okay to be them as they are, degree or not, failure or success or fail, they deserve to be happy as they are, If I could just make them feel this way, I really do, I want to see that glow in their eyes
I feel that. I wish there was a way to let other people see the world through our eyes. The best way this is done is through just explaining things in detail and really telling them how you feel. It’s not as good as actually seeing the world through your eyes, but it’s quite close if you explain it well enough.
i think we should show this video to the old grumpy adult that keeps saying "video games make people aggressive/dumb/[insert a pessimist adjective]" Seriously it makes me feel relieved to hear something I can relate to, and I'm glad you kept your way of thinking and acting with sensitivity, because it would have been so easy for you to kind of adapt to the usual and superficial way of engaging conversation with unknown people. Acting this way brings so much profundity and mind opening
Oh I’ve heard that statement soooo many times! It’s so outdated and makes almost zero sense! I think that in moderation, video games helps out players a ton by creativity, problem solving skills, and communication with other people. I think people who believe this kind of statements might not be interested in learning about anything related to video games, because there are so much alternatives to the typical violence-looking COD or Apex (and even among them there is a lot to benefit from!). It did feel like you haven’t posted in a while. This is one large skill that I have been working on, trying to listen to my friends and understand their situations. I’ve failed doing this skill for so long because I’m really bad at being attentive, as well as having ADHD and autism. I’ve been working on this skill as of recently because I’ve lost so much from not listening. I am fixing many things now, but some mistakes I’ve made due to not listening I know are never gonna be fixed. Lost friendships, bad communication with people around me. I’m really working on it, and I could fix it at some point, but for now, I really just need to work on healing relationships.
Haha yeah I had to stretch the videos out again over 1 vid/week since I wanted to start focusing on my health again. I’m glad to hear that you’re working on that part of yourself. And although yes you’ve lost friendships because of that, can you imagine the rest of your entire life, the friendships and relationships you’ll retain because you’ve been working on that skill? Awesome video, also birds fly in a V shape because of aerodynamics, it helps them conserve energy by decreasing air resistant for each layer of the V, so the bottom one is kind of the one handling all the wind resistant, and when they get tired another bird takes takes their place. i don't know why but i realized that all these little things made less and less sense to me. Like... i thought that caring about such small things doesn't matter because we are just small planet in space and eventually will all die. I guess i think in such way because of caring too much about bigger things, and now I can't appreciate all the little things in our lives.... I am not a doctor but maybe it is something mental... judging by how i feel and think. It has gone so far that, for example, when i feel good because of eating or drinking something very tasty, and the weather is good with this light wind, and i just feel like there is no reason i can be possibly upset... i immediately think that there is no reason to be happy... there are people dying right now, feeling the biggest pain both physical and mental. It is not like I don't deserve to feel good but rather that this moment of happiness woth nothing compared to what exists in the world. Upd: nice vid, i almost felt being there and speaking to people
I feel that as well. It’s almost like, why do I have the right to complain when other people’s problems are way worse? Sure that may be true, but comparing our problems and minimizing our own won’t do any good. It just makes us not do anything about it. We can shift our perspective and instead think about everyone has problems, big and small, and we can tackle it one step at a time. It only takes 1 step, and it can begin today.
At first i thought it was something related to apex but damn, didn't expect a life lesson from this video but at least i now know what to do to get closer to people which is something i'vd always struggled to do. i loved this video. the first convo felt too relatable 😂. i subconsciously have a love for jellyfish, which was rooted from the movie Finding Nemo. weirdly enough, Finding Nemo is my favorite movie because of it. i could go on and on about how beautiful jellyfish are and their really unique characteristics, or maybe about the movie, because the movie sets a really good example about them in the wild. scientifically, some of their info was a bit too extreme, but overall, i always talk about them in any convo i could get. some ppl dislike it, some ppl fantasize over how strong my love is for such an unusual topic. your video is too good not to watch, very inspirational.
Oh wow jellyfish!! Okay if you have to tell me absolutely 1 cool fact about them what would it be?? If we were at a party, I would hands down 100% listen to your rambles about jellyfish 🪼😭
@@SonyxApexGuides ur so sweet, truly. 😭 one fact that’s stuck with me is that jellyfish don’t just have tentacles, they also have arms in in the middle where it’s a bit hidden (depending on the species). the main focus of the arms are to successfully transfer it’s food into the mouth. in the movie, the type of jellyfish on screen are just a mix of a common sea nettle and a cannonball jellyfish, thus getting it’s roundish shape. i haven’t fact checked it, so it’s just from the top of my head lol. do u have a favorite animal? i’d love to know :)

But the fact that you were able to just pull that up from the top of your head officially makes you the certified jellyfish expert on this channel. Thank you! 🪼🪼🪼 Honestly my favorite animal is probably the cheetah 🐆 because I find it so amazing that a land animal is built to run that fast (I think 70 miles per hour), which is insane to me since that’s the speed limit the cars drive in the freeway in the U.S.

Welcome my friend!! Octane is my 2nd main since he is soooo fun I can't lie hahaha. Honestly try both, octane is awesome for horizontal movement while valk is great for vertical/height movement. Both have their strengths!

@@SonyxApexGuides My interest with sailing started at the camp that my father took me, small boats but i felt in love with it, after the time boat have changed to bigger one, catamaran but love stayed and even grow bigger cause its more exciting. The animation started with my favorite youtuber that is an poland animator and simply i wanted to animate silly stories like him but i quickly realisted that is not what i want, i want to make stories that give people something, just like cartoons efected on me. And what about you Friend, anything apart from awsome channel and Apex youre passioned about? Or why Apex legends in first place? :)
