This video is actually great, this clearly shows each trade with zero bias.. totally random.. even bullish trades in an obviously bearish situation that you would never take.. yet with proper risk management even with deliberately bad trades, overall you were profitable... zero emotion.. a trade structure when combined with market structure will get you closer to the 80%+ win rate we all aim for! Thanks for the great example!!
Also, your random number generator never repeats the same number back to back, therefore its not really as random as you think, which actually skews it more towards being 50/50, even though every time you start on 2, you seem to only ever get 1, 3, or 4. if you start on 1 you only get 2 3 or 4, etc, so thats not truly 50/50
This may be the most important trading video on RU-vid. If not the most important,, at least as equally important as any advice, or how to video. This is a perfect example of how even if you aren't the best at tech analysis, or have a top notch strategy, you can still be successful. However, combine this risk management with a sound strategy, and you will be golden.. Thanks for the videos. I have been trading,,, or rather, losing money,, for about 3 years now. With your videos, and a couple others,, and a LOT of reading, research, and other things,, I am getting much better.. I have quite losing money,,, now I just need to take the next step and consistently make money..
This is a good concept and it’s logical, you’re right that emotions often get in the way of good decision making. However, backtesting 10 trades is nothing. I know you’re just making a point but again, 10 trades fits into “noise”. If you’re not backtesting at least 500 trades then the results are meaningless.
Wow very interesting, Im really glad you made this video. Its an eye opener for sure. Who would have thought levels and risk mgmt were that much more important than picking the direction? 👍
He should trade live one week. And show us that it really works with real money and without emotions. And not show the charts where you know the outcome in advance.

How do you handle many of the days the market opens up above or below the pre-market high or low? Do you instead use Todays high and low in the first 5 minutes after the market has opened? Maybe you can make a video about this as all your videos only show from the days the market opens up within the pre-market high and low
Second trade of second day should have been entered exactly where you exited the first trade of the second day. It hit and reacted off of the premarket low but you skipped it and went long next trade well below.

Wow - very interesting concept - makes me want to backtest it over a longer period to see what the data shows. I typically use $1-3K risk per trade - eye opening to see what this might generate in a week without stressing or spending hours watching the charts. Yes I understand that these results will never be duplicated & are not indicative of future results.....

Psychological numbers are pretty effective especially if you're only following certain pairs that almost always will come back to home base and hit those numbers like clockwork once a cycle has completed its movements and resets
I understand the risk to reward ratio was fixed at a two to one every time, but I'm wondering how the results would have been. If in addition to a strict risk to reward ratio, you also risked the same amount every trade, let's say for example, 1% of your account balance.
What do you mean by pre market high and pre market low... is it safe to say thats the tokyo range for THAT day? what happened to marking your previous day high/low, you're ignoring that here? to me it looks like youre pre market h/l is between 8 am and 9am, but that could just be a coincidence... please let me know exactly what you mean, what are you looking at time wise?

Is there any different way to mark out key levels without a Fibonacci retracement tool with Gold? It's time consuming T.D.A watching like a hawk because if you measure 4Hr intervals you might miss certain retest or candle formations focusing on lower timeframes? Does anyone else mark up from the Daily and only drop down to the 1hr Timeframe as the main entry and when you wait for a retest are you taking a short scalp trade before the break/Retest or do you wait until the N.Y session and enter in the Killzone time windows?
One week and a few trades are not that meaningful. And the result depends on the market, it needs to be trending for this to work. A ranging market and the win rate is too low.
This strategy doesn't make much sense to me. In real time the market wont wait until you check you check our random number generator. By the time you do that its too late for the trade.
Why give half information how do we get random number generator explain that . I promise I will be genuine when I go live . Stop leaving people hanging
interesting video, what time do you use as a start point for defining your premarket highs and lows, (for NQ and ES futures). I thought in one of your earlier videos you used 4:00 am eastern time zone, is that correct?
the problem is we're humans and we do have emotions. I'm killing it in paper trading. not so much irl. lol. So what I need is someone to give me money to trade, giving me the profits and not asking me for the losses... lol. now who wants to be my trading sugar daddy? lol
