Overseas basketball leagues vary drastically in their playing styles.
A prime example is in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) where overseas basketball players are expected to put up big statistical numbers.
To that end, players headed to China should be training a certain way. Practicing a bunch of "fundamental" catch-and-shoot drills simply won't cut it here.
You'll need to be a 1-1 master.
Contrarily, if you're heading to a European basketball league - where teamwork is emphasized - then practicing a ton of 1-1 moves won't be very beneficial either.
So know the play style of the league you're headed to and train accordingly.
