I can't believe no member of the study group outside of Pierce saw the value of the term streets ahead... Right now it is truly verbal wildfire. I use it daily and everybody who is streets ahead understands me, if you know what I mean.

@@franciscofarias6385 Yeah. It’s an extremely common British expression. It means “better”. Dan Harmon hadn’t heard of it when a British guy insulted him on Twitter, so he instantly made fun of it, thinking it was made up.

Just realized that in Season 2 Episode 4 "Liverpool vs. Manchester " at around 5:00 Tiny Man aka. Pierce Drug Halluzination played by Andy Dick greets Pierce with: "That moonwalk back there was Streets Ahead, buddy" Pierce is still thinking about the phrase it in Season 2. I love that.

I don't know for US or English but in Spanish or at least in Mexico there's a very similar phrase. "Estás a dos cuadras del desfile" translates to "you're 2 streets behind the parade". Which means to be far from where the action is. And also is used as the opposite "you're 2 streets ahead of the parade".
