Stop Trying To Escape Death. Just Make The Most of Life. | Khutbah by Omar Suleiman 

We do not fear death Do not seek death Do not forget to die Die is the door to meet Allah Dead is not the end of our story in our life But death is the beginning to meet Allah SWT . O Allah we ask You a good ending .Grant us Jannah and protect us from Hellfire .

Almost two weeks ago I was hit by a car which made me unconscious for a while and after I woke up my head hurt and my head was bleeding but I was happy that I was able to move my limbs. The moment milliseconds before I was hit I became at peace at the idea of dying, but I did not. Allah never intended me to die that day, I am glad that I am still alive because I can continue to work to be a better muslim. May Allah grant everyone's dua that they make about the way that they want to pass away.

No one can escape death.. let’s prepare before it comes

Subhanallah what a heart broken incidences😭 May Allah be pleased with all of them and all of us. I don't know anyone of them except as brothers and sisters in Islam. Allahumma Ameen to all the dua. Such profound and touching khutbah from brother Sheikh Omar Suleiman❤️❤️😭

subhanallah .. i felt the power of allah when allah called my father back to the afterlife ...tht was the eye opening moment i faced...alhamdulillah i feel lucky now that it only took me more closer to allah .. i wouldve never survived if i took the wrong path.. i always thank allah for all the rahmah and the light he showed me alhamdulillah i pray that whatever happens to me ..ill never forget the favours of allah s.w.t till i meet him ameen .. there are lots of families now losing one or both parents..or siblings.. etc...i hope allah give them the strength to face duniya in the right way..and may allah guide them to do only good ameen 💐

This is exactly what happened to me when my father passed away. Allah (SWT) woke me up.

SubhanAllah. I know how heart breaking it is. I can't say anything at this point. This is how life is. I pray that all of us stay on the right path and when we leave this Dunya, Allah will be happy along with RasulAllah to meet us InshaAllah. May Allah forgive us all and have mercy upon us. Allahumma Ameen.

So sorry for your loss and your community's loss, Sheikh. Your shock and grief are palpable, even through the mask. Thank you for the reminder to make the most of this time for the right reasons. May Allah Mian bless those who have passed and their families. Ameen.

I lost my mother 5 months ago. I am feeling like i am also dead, i can't accept her death, i still want my maa will come again and we will live happily again. I want to talk to her, i want to see her, i forget how to smile. I am still trying and praying to Allah to give me strength and sabr. I don’t know what to do, i am not okay. I want to live but It's become difficult. My mother died because of hospital's carelessness. She was fine we talk whole day, we laugh. It was just a simple surgery, but after surgery they didn’t take care my mother properly, she said she feel bad and pain they ignore it and said It's natural. She had heart attack they didn’t even understand and didn’t check why my mother saying she is feeling pain in chest. After some hour she just died. I can't accept it. I need my mother. I wish we admit her other hospital. I just feel she should alive but she is no more because of hospital fault.

May Allah forgive us muslims and take us out of this painful humiliation! Amen

I have to FLU now for 2 months and im fighting with it every night and i pray every night to Allah to wake me up de next day for my 2 baby daughters... im afraid its corona... i tested twice and both negative ...but i havent had a flu like this in my life ...im 43 now. These last 2 months... i got in a trauma...stress syndrome.. it changed my entire worldly view ...i dont care about any materialistic thing..nothing..i wasnt very materialistic person anyway but this whole experience woke me up even better. SubhannAllah im still breathing and i hope i will survive this safely for my 2 babies and i pray for those who are sick and fighting for their lives..Amin !!

Assalamu walikum wa rahamatuallhi wa barakatu Dear Dr Omar Suleiman and all others, I read news which say that the current COVID-19 situation in US is the worst in the world. I concern about you all. I just want to remind you all (I think that you all probably have thought what I'm going to say 1000 times): please do registration before attending Jummah Salat at least one day before it. The registration should include key information such as: whether this person has fever in last 14 days, etc. It's better to pray outside so that air is fresh. The Covid-19 may affect a person through eyes when the environment is closed. If praying in Masjid is necessary for any reason, please open the doors and windows during entire Jummah. Please be safe.
