We won the Vision Miner giveaway at RMRRF. I now swear by it. Haven’t used another bed ahesive since. Lasts for about 10 to 20 Prints before you have to reapply. Goes on nice and smooth onto the bed without gobbing or leaving residue all over prints like glue does. HIGHLY recommend.

Yah you are right, this stuff is better than anything else I’ve tried. In particular it’s really good for eg silk filament with small areas that have poor adhesion no matter how much soap and water you use to clean your plate. Do I use it always? Of course not, most of the time I don’t need it. But I know when to use it and when I do, it absolutely helps.

I tried some for the first time recently, it is indeed quite magical. I hate glue stick for its residue and the inconsistent coverage. This does not suffer from those issues. And textured build plate patterns still transfer cleanly.

Been using this since first tried a sample bottle since 2021. Amazing how it helps with any adhesion issues on all types of surfaces and almost every type of filament. Nothing else compares, so why waste the money on other adhesives , which also leave residue on the bottom of your prints. VM NPA comes out clean.

I use this “adhesive” on every build plate I have. I buy the $45.00 bottle and it seems to last forever. I have a couple of thoughts. First I use a cheap foam brush to apply it, using the circular and X technique. It is fast and easy to do. Afterwards I just wash to foam brush and it’s ready to use again. Also, rather than using a putty knife to remove a part while the plate is still warm, I pull off a flexible steel plate off and wave it in the breeze. Then a small amount of flexing and the part just lifts off. For non flexible plates I just let things cool and parts can just be lifted off. If I’m in a hurry, I have a small fan to hasten the cooling. And the last thing I have found useful is to keep my fingers off of the plate. Just a quick wipe with a dry microfiber cloth and it’s ready to go again. To use a hackney phase, I think this is the best stuff since sliced bread!

I have been using it on my Wham Bam PEO plates. They work great for PLA, but had a little warping with ABS, put some of this on and they stick very well. Also the same for my Prusa XL the smooth plate for ABS. Just wish it was a little less expensive.

I used to think this stuff was overpriced snake oil. I bought it and will buy more. Its absolutly amazing. Doesnt matter if its PLA or ABS it just makes sure the print will stick 100%.

Most of the time i didn't use glue at all because it isn't needed on my Prusa and another, I don't like residue left on my parts from nano polymer or magigoo glues, or even the purple glue stick.

I have not really found any residue from this on my prints but I have from other glues and especially glue stick. I appreciate the info! Thank you for watching!

Some materials almost must use garolite. If this solves that it's a win in my book.

Love Nano Polymer Adhesive. It's allowed me to print nylons and some other difficult to print materials that I was failing to get to stick, or was getting bad warpage with until I tried it.

I've been thinking about trying an adhesive for my nylon prints, but the fact that this doesn't have an applicator bottle really makes me hesitate, especially at that price.

Clean your buildplate and use decent one. Save money
@NWalker-zx6xu
@NWalker-zx6xu 21 день назад
i think it depends. Like they said if you get 50 prints per usage and personally a bottle lasts years id argue a build plate doesnt last nearly as long as this product and they cost simular meaning you save nothing.

I agree! I'd say more - stop using any adhesives at all. Just buy Mullers' Ultem 1000 Black PEI 0.3mm sheet and put it on Your steel then just be happy about Your extreme adhesion without using any additional liquids.

Thankfully I haven't had a need to use glue (yet). I clean my two glass beds with store-brand window cleaner (320x320 and 1000x1000) and a dry cloth and two PEI sheets with Dawn dish-soap (both 420x420). They stick like glue (if you pardon the pun).

I've been using this nano poly coating for the past 10 months, the only issue I had was, the stock X1 bambu black PEI plate and abs. The ABS and this polymer coating pulled the PEI layer off the plate. This nano polymer coating just sticks..... and wrecked the plate, it was a happy a failure! I get about 20-30 prints per coating and the big bottle last me around 6 months but I have few printers. Awesome stuff Vision Miner, now if you just sell this directly to Canadians..... Cheers

If you need glue on the build plate then your printer is not set up correctly or or using the wrong type of material for a build plate.
@rbuschy

My printer will out down that purge line no problem, and then screw up the actual print every time. Will this stuff help with that? You say it activates at a certain temperature... So if I just dropped some raw, right off the spool, PLA onto a heated bed that was at that temp... it would stick?
@TheEdgeofTech
@TheEdgeofTech 28 дней назад
This would definitely help! But getting your bed leveled and the z offset, set correctly would be better!

The value proposition over other cheap adhesives is not near good enough for the price. Maybe for more difficult to print materials, but not for the vast majority of hobby-level use.

That is the issue i am having with 3DXTECH pc filament in the enclosure heat soaked for 4 or 5 times. Using satin sheet and txt sheet, need glue, nano polymer and even magigoo pc glue. The pc parts still would warp. Someone mentioned for me to try the smooth sheet, once i get the MK3S+ finished and put back in the enclosure, i will try the Nano Polymer again on a smooth sheet. Any others tips?

A good coat and make sure that the bed is at least 50 to 60c. Also, you could slow down your first layers that might help.

Make it easy on yourselves. Just use hairspray. That easy.
@JonS
@JonS 27 дней назад
That doesn't work for high temp, high warping materials. Have you tried printing nylon using hairspray as a bed adhesive?
@DebianDog
@DebianDog 27 дней назад
lol no. I mean unless you're printing PLA parts. and also hairspray makes the bed sticky and uneven.
@qwertyzxaszc6323

@@DebianDogRarely do I print PLA. Glue sticks are a mess. I used hair spray for everything. Fast easy, no mess, no clean up.Never have a problem. Never had
@JRxxx
@JRxxx 26 дней назад
I have some its good, a bit pricey, but its CLEAN. Apply it liberally and evenly then let it "dry" it will last a few prints (for me about 10 prints). The brush became useless after the first day. It became brittle and would leave strands on the print bed.
