I was always suspicious of the glowing ones giving away my position. However I thought it would only show due to them being near the survivor’s hips. Not from their head
I was playing against a Jane with an auric cell charm over her head last night and thought about your stream comments. I hope this message makes its way to BHVR so it can be fixed.
It's so annoying that this even has to be worried about at all, I've noticed the charms as killer too and it makes me not want to run any on my survivors
I'm a survivor main (about 2.2k hours) and I don't run these charms, I used to run the Auric one but never noticed it above players heads. I'm not sure if it glitches with the player cam for the actual player, as I tend to spec after I get killed and have never noticed this on survivors. However, I did notice the bits floating above other players heads when lifted by the killer, I thought it was the old year 1/2 Anniversary halo. I also seen a thin red chain/line cutting through the level from the survivor. Only noticed this yesterday.
The space city charm from tome 16 (gabe + singularity's tome) also makes the pinhead chain thing. Thats the one that i've noticed the most personally 😅
Level of detail, high poly models you see when you're looking at them and low poly models used for extremely far away or when youre not looking at them for optimization as well as textures pop in and out right in front of me a few feet away, much closer than they should be. It's not game breaking and doesn't give me any sort of advantage but it's incredibly annoying and frequently as killer shifts my focus from looking around or focusing on a chase to look at a low poly blocky rock change to a smooth one right in front of me and in the corner of my vision.
I've only recently started seeing this more frequently, and have a couple things to add: auras make it worse, and the visual tearing/chains at least are visible on some killers as well. I think it's any glowing cosmetic element, not just charms.
Visual tearing on cosmetics started going crazy as of this last update. I had a yun jin and Nancy with their clothes and skin flying around it looked like when scientists bug out in rust if you've ever seen that 😭
On hooks it helps spot them when the colorblind blends in but id never wear it on survivor since its so bright. Id rather deeer mask for its size than cell
I use the brightest possible charms to see my hooks better. Not really about self expression for me. I don't ever use charms on my survivors because it takes away from the outfit, personally
Sorry zooming in made it rough... Idk why my quality from twitch is so poor.. but it happens literally every stream for me. I think they fixed the chains? But charms are constantly floating over the survivors heads like 5x a day for me minimum
Maybe it's because your game is bright AF? 5000+ hour killer main, and I have never seen any of this. I watch a lot of killer main streamers as well, and have never seen this in any stream...? What do you play on?
@@CheyTtv Hmm. Dunno then. Been playing since beta and this is the first I have ever seen it. Never happens in my games, or any streams I've seen. The Entity must like you. Enjoy the advantage.
@@CheyTtv between all the aura reading and macro level gameplay of just where the killer is likely going next/pressure points on the map/expected healing areas knowledge it just doesn’t affect much of my own gameplay. One thing I am curious though- is if your graphical settings are potentially causing this? I tried testing this in private matches with some friends and we didn’t get any of these issues. Could also be fixed already
@@theformuoli6397 I saw it as of yesterday still happening. My graphics card is up to date. Not sure what else I could change. It doesn't /always/ happen it just does sometimes and when it does it's one of the charms I showcased
