U sure ur link is to a legitimate website, i bought one got charged $15 shipping and now I see there is a different website w free shipping? Has hk in website address?
Been following your channel for awhile. Just retired after being in law enforcement since 1982. Thinking of giving this to me from me as a retirement gift. Price is very inviting. Thanks
Perfect title and cover photo for a book "Where gray becomes green Memoirs of a mercenary" Maxace neptune in a dimly lit scene with a single drop of blood running down the blade.
Cool knife forsure but Kershaw’s Liverwire black remains the current best bang for buck on the OTF market. $220 from BladeOps for a dual spring mechanism with DLC’d magnacut🔪🏆
I like the Livewire & love that it’s USA-made, but if I’m playing devil’s advocate I would say I could get 2 Neptunes for that price. That’s 4 cutting edges (each slightly longer than the 1 on the Livewire).
Ok you are good to go on promoting this!!! We site back up this morning and just ordered it!!! $123 after shipping... Now I must return to work to pay for it
Metal Complex crashed their website because of the traffic he caused 😂 the page won’t load. The power this man has on the industry is amazing 👌🏻👌🏻 keep it up MC, because it seems like these makers and companies listen to your feedback!
That blade to handle ratio looks really nice! I think it is the tallness of the dagger shape that gives me that look. But overall a very nice looking otf!
Almost perfect. I'm debating on getting one. Those glass breakers are useless unless it's spring loaded. I wish they would stop putting those on knives. It's nothing more than extra bulk and weight.
Any OTF is impressive to me. I've only had one. I suppose that would change once you become more educated about the OTF world. What I want at the end of the day is an OTF made by people who have a committed passion for knives and don't care about catering to market appeal.
If a knife is not appealing to the market, chances are it isn't a good knife. The knife community pays attention to what companies are putting out, and when they like it they're quick to say so.
Yes, but even the knife community is getting more and more diverse these days, and not everyone in the knife community will agree on everything the same. @@kylelindberg7771
The focus on precision is good for knife manufacturing. I just want to point out that precision isn't everything to an enthusiast. Also, at this rate, what's to stop them from just taking all the sales from companies like Microtech completely in terms of tolerances? They know they can produce as good quality at cheaper costs and are selling them here, why would people buy anything else?@@metal_complex
Thanks for pointing out the pocket clip single position issue. I was super pumped about their other tanto OTF (can’t remember the name now) that came out within the past year. I’m a lefty, so I went to their website to verify that it was reversible. It didn’t show it or mention it either way. I decided to take a chance and order one. Nope. Same design as this one. Super disappointing on an otherwise stellar knife. This one is super impressive looking too.
How do you like the Neptune compared to the Medusa or Medusa 2? The lock up on my Medusa is almost like my deadlock, so close to being the same; is the Neptune that good?
I have their previous budget OTF, the Archer, which was only $88 and in K110 steel. In the beginning it was very hard to fire, but after a while it smoothed out perfectly. It is very reliable and does not fail when you fire it forward. However, its fails often when you retract it upside down. But you do not need to do that. Still I am very satisfied with my first OTF.
Metal, c’mon brother!! First the RobJohnsons custom, and now this?! Well, I got both of them😅 The knife addiction lifestyle isn’t for everyone. Super happy I snagged both!! This thing looks incredible, for $108?! SOLD!! Thanks MC! Keep it sharp, brother🗡️
Ever since you mentioned this knife during your live giveaway the website has been down lol These knife companies need to be prepared for the MC affect.
Out the front auto knives have too many working parts. Way too much of a chance for breakage that being said I did purchase a microtech ultratech and it lasted approximately 3 months. It was an absolute piece of junk .I was so disgusted I smashed it as flat as I could with a big hammer put it in an envelope and mailed it back to microtech! I really hope nobody really needs one for an emergency situation or Defense. They are fidget toys not meant to cut anything.
Wow! Thank you so much for referring to Wish knives! Buck knives for $11! Microtech for $8! Benchmade for $10!! It’s like a dream come true. Just kidding. I’m sure they’re all fakes.
I tried the within the first hour, page not responding. waited a few hours later, page still not responding. trying again now.. page STILL Not Responding lolololololol Thank the Lord that I'm a patient one. lol When you're ready, I'm ready lol
STOP PROMOTING THIS!!!! I have tried to get it since your live Friday and the website is broken!!! Once it starts up again IF they are still in stock I am ordering one
The comb image might be a visual workaround, due to legal issues with certain states/countries. The available models on that page are listed as single edge (X04A), double edge serrated (X04C), and double edge plain (X04B). His affiliate link still isn’t working, at least here in CA. I could only load the page via Google search, which doesn’t help the channel. 🤷🏻♂️
@@JesseCohenI've tried on my phone several times and on my computer and just googling it still won't load the page... And his link doesn't work either... I keep trying every few hours
