Stopping a horse | teach him the aids - In this video, I would like to share with you how to stop a horse. I will start at the very beginning and show you how it starts in the round yard and then show you the progression up to how to stop a horse with your seat. This will help you to stop a horse without pulling on the reins. I will explain how to train a horse to do a one-rein stop. This should be the very beginning of your dressage training as it is one of the foundation blocks of basic horse training.
