A faster way would be to just append the "view-source:" in front of the link, which is what Ctrl+U essentially does

This is what I hate and love about CTFs. it so not real world to find anything remarkable in a DNS record yet I had no idea about that RFC and woulndt have looked harder than an any query. so frustrating but something to learn from.

Aw sadly I'm not from the US

Seeing the dandling tag after the non-autoclosed tag in the game page header, I would still probably have gave a try at requestion the CSS page using a "Accept:application/javascript" HTTP header, so maybe the server would have returned a different content for the CSS URL. To avoid editing hosts, you could have also try `curl -H "Host: epicgame.duc.tf" the-server-ip` that should be fine too. And fun thing, DNS records are now part of my toolbox since a friend couldn't access one of my games because it was using a AAAA IPv6 record only :) Great video like always !
