Thank you for your videos! I wish I'd had them when Ozzy was a puppy. He actually spit out his puppy teeth. They were painful to step on!! He enjoyed baby carrots, the corner of our staircase, our dryer vent and the screws caps to our gazebo!! He used to remove the squickers from his toys...then he was done playing with that toy. I'm very glad he's 14! Now he power naps...and dreams of running at the dog park! His little paws move like he's running...lol
You have nice videos, enjoy watching them. But my Shiba Inu 10 weeks old puppy does not stop biting whatever I do. Sometimes he goes wild on the leash and starts biting my legs. Any suggestion?
Perfect timing. Our puppy is 12 weeks and really likes to bite all kinds of things. The idea with the iced Kong is great, I will try that right away. Greetings from our puppy Yoshi.
I’d like to add, that I just tried the Kong with frozen banana and Yoshi was really happy. I tried a cooled carrot straight out of the fridge and that was good, too. I don’t know if you get this as feedback. But thanks a lot. Such advice is very helpful. ❤️
That’s great to hear! In summer time you can also freeze other fruits like blueberries, watermelon too and those can be great treats and fun to chew for Yoshi too👍🏻
Thank you for the great content! We are raising Shiba Inu puppy with a German Shepherd puppy. Shiba Inu is 12 weeks a German Shepherd is 16 weeks old. They love playing together and Shiba Inu can hold her own playing with the German Shepherd puppy that is twice her size.
Thanks for the helpful video. I have a 6 month old lab and he’s just getting out of the teething stage but we are still working on his mouthing on people (mostly me). When he gets really excited he likes to open his big mouth and try to gnaw on anything or anyone nearby.
Hi! What do you suggest if my puppy isn’t interested in any of the chew toys (even loses interest in Kong fairly quickly), doesn’t respond to yelping, and turning away while he’s chasing/biting doesn’t stop him from attacking my legs with my back turned haha. It’s hard to leave the room to take away attention too, because he will start chewing on the baseboards. When I say no in a firm/low tone it doesn’t seem to work either, and I don’t want to yell at him because I know he’s not trying to hurt me. He is 12 weeks old, and this biting chaos can sometimes last hours for him, and I don’t know what to do!
I’m having a similar problem with my Shiba. Even putting him in timeout immediately when he starts biting doesn’t help. Was wondering if you found a solution!
my puppy bites me mostly in the car when they need to stay in their dog car seat when I'm driving. Sometimes they do well, other times they bite like crazy. Any advice?
We have lots of chewing toys but she keeps biting my boyfriend out of aggression. Like when she’s angry at him she bites but doesn’t bite me when angry. I don’t know why. We try to discipline and redirect but it’s not entirely working. Do you know how to stop aggressive biting? I got her to stop cuz I make an “Ow!” Or yelping sound and say no and she stops (she play bites me and I’m training her to stop) He doesn’t say Ow and then No he just says no and disciplines.

Hi Joanna, in general puppy needs higher nutrition dense food than adult dog in order to supply the rapid growth. We used to use Costco Kirkland puppy formula(listed below) when Jimmy was young. On top of dry food you can also supplement some egg yolks, dog friendly fruits and veggie into the daily diet as well.
