One time I bought a full Campagnolo, early 80's Italian road bike from Darryl's son. This was about 7 years ago in Oakland, CA from a Craigslist listing. Awesome bike that saw tons of miles but was unfortunately stolen 2 years later in West Oakland. I forget the frame builder but it was all white with beautiful with hand-filed lugs and bottom bracket. During the deal, some guy approached us on the street and threatened to kill us both in Ghost Town but luckily that deterred neither one of us and deal went through. Miss that bike =[

I have an honest question, since Hester revealed this entire series from season 1 up until now has been scripted and most items planted prior to the filming for audience excitement, then how much money did these professionals actually make before the show? Those "biker chicks" driving slowly around in circles. Our test had us doing tighter turns faster then those. As for the suit, that estimate wasn't even close. The suit itself is anywhere from 949.99-1149.99. The additional armour is maybe another 400 total. That's for all new gear. Unless that suit had some D-Air bag system in it, which I didn't get a chance to see if it did or not, they're way off the mark.
