Have you considered “boxing in” the front area, between the door and walls, under the front windows? This would elevate the area and make it perfect for displays, keeping it up so when people walk/drive by they will see what you are featuring.

We are getting fibre optic as well. The lines where just installed on our street yesterday, we are not below ground but rather it is strung from the telephone poles. Now, we just wait for the upgraded modem to arrive.
