I love seeing people’s thought process and the formulas they use for their memory documenting! I also love how you created your own word phrase strips! Brilliant! Thanks for sharing!

Hi Emma, love your style. Such a different and amazing way to do Project Life and to use the AE kits. Thank you for sharing.

I love your album. I feel like this would work well for something like week in the life too. Having a process would make it more doable. Thank you for the inspiration

Great to hear more about your process, even if it all went so very wrong for you. Some Days / weeks / months are just like that. I love formulas. I don't do Project Life, I write a diary and insert photos and ephemera where appropriate. In addition I make scrapbook layouts in A4 whenever the mood strikes me, collected in a year album. But I do quite a few themed albums or inserts every year. Travel albums, DitL, WitL, October Daily are staples in my line-up, plus ongoing projects like an "About me" album, an album about every lighthouse I visit (my obsession) and one about my best loved nature photos. I find that without a plan / formula I'm likely to abandon a project once the next one comes up. I have a cheap notebook where I sketch ideas and inspirations for documenting travels and I work with templates (either PS or Canva) for the other projects. Especially for albums that span years (like the lighthouse one) or projects like D/WitL that repeat year after year I find it helps me to use templates, because the design overall will stay consistent even if I use different collections. And being able to just drag and drop the photos makes me more successful when it comes to actually finishing an album. I still have a half-finished album from 2017 about a vacation in Iceland (a childhood dream come true) that is all over the place design-wise. I am never going to finish it the way it is currently set up, so I am actually thinking about starting from scratch with a plan. But then the next vacation is already on the horizon... *sigh*
