This is something I had been wanting to do for a long time and here it is! A solo actual play campaign. This episode is relatively light, since it's the intro, but I'm pumped about the prospective story! I hope you'll stay for the ride.

Great first “pilot” episode, the story is developing nicely and the main character already grabbed my attention (I hope he doesn’t die). The length of the video is just perfect, the ruleset is quite interesting and I can see the hard work you put making this video, really a high quality production. I’ll be waiting for the next episode.

You just made my morning! Thanks a lot! I hope so, too. Honestly any kind of combat right now would be lethal, so I’m flexing my internal GM muscles to think of possible ways this could develop without a very early tpk.

Saw this on Reddit, sub earned. By the way, the original medieval London bridge was literally occupied. It had houses and shops all along it with a thoroughfare going through it..

Oh and the random terrain comes from the Adventures Dark and Deep random encounter generator!

It depends! If I have a game, tone or setting I’m interested in playing, I define or enforce that. For this game I prefered to let Mythic and the generators decide, but I’m not shy in general about forcing themes or events if I’m interested on those.

I mainly used Worlds Without Number and Spectacular Settlements, a marvelous book by Nord Games!

Why did you chose to play World without number (by the way, is it available now? can you post a link?), rather than Ironsworn or some other game made to play solo?

You got a link to the beta folder of WWN in the comments below. Using Mythic is, for me, as natural as using a game made for solo playing, so I prefer to use a system which is more aligned with my RPG preferences and the game I want to play. Ironsworn is amazing, but it has an implied setting, theme and tone in its mechanics, as well as scene resolution. I prefer something closer to an OSR.
