Thank you for this program. We have people in our government that would have us believe that the world hates us . However we have great people. Thank you to our veterans my family loves and respect you. During WWII my Father's ship was bombed. He had psdt that was with him his whole life. God bless all our troops.

That entire video was one the touching, heartbreaking and tender video I have ever watched!!! I'm a Navy veteran and I chose to be a military escort for my roommate when he died in a traffic accident, I thought that job was tough but some of these people are far and away going above the call of duty!!!!!!!

So many stories of reality and reason for extreme compasion. I can't handle anymore heart break and tears. My minds eye; cannot take anymore. I'm sorry. I wish I could watch the intended joy for these storie's, but it shouldn't be after such painfull, scared memorie's. Thanks.

Met a gentleman named Everett McBride, he had served in the Army during WW ll, and had fought in the Battle of the Bulge. The weather was a serious factor in that battle. Coldest weather in decades. Everett told me how he had kept his feet healthy, by washing his extra pair of socks and then sleeping with those socks on his chest. The body heat dried them. He would take of his old dirty socks and put on the clean dry socks. He repeated this process keeping his feet healthy in the bitter cold. RIP Everett.

My husband was a Vietnam Veteran. I thank God, he made it home and as saddened for the families whose loved one didn't make it home. Ross' uniform hung in the closet for years. Years after his death my daughter secretly made a Teddy Bear out of Ross' Army uniform. including his insignia, metals, buttons, etc. The Teddy Bear sits next to my bed so I can say God Morning and Good night every day.
