Today we are at Frühling Farm and we are harvesting grass silage. We started by jumping into a Mercedes Sprinter van and going to the local dealer. When we arrived at the dealer we bought a small trailer with ramps for 1.550 euros. We attached the trailer to the back of the van and headed back to the farm. After we got back we moved Steyr 6150 CVT out of the shed and then we jumped into Aebi 66 push mower and loaded it onto the trailer. Then we strapped the mower to the trailer and headed to the first grass field. We used a mower to mow two headlands so we can mow the rest of the field with a tractor. When the first field was done we loaded the mower onto the trailer and strapped it and then we headed to the second field and did the same thing. After we finished mowing we returned back to the farm and washed the van, trailer, and mower, and then parked them. Then we jumped into Deutz-Fahr AgroStar 4.78 and attached the Pottinger Novadisc 265 mower on the back. When that was done we headed to the first grass field and started mowing the rest of the grass. After the first field was mowed we headed to the second one and we did the same thing. We mowed both of the fields and then we headed back to the farm where we washed the tractor and mower and then parked them. The next job was to windrow the grass and for that job, we used Steyr 975 with Krone Swadro 395 windrow. We attached the windrow to the tractor and headed to the first field. We unfolded the windrow and did one headland pass and then we set up GPS and did ups and downs. After we got the first field done we headed to the second field and did the same thing. It took us some time to finish windowing grass but we managed to do it. Then we headed back to the farm and washed the tractor and windrow and then parked them. We also parked the Steyr 6150 CVT in the shed and then we jumped into Deutz-Fahr AgroStar 6.38 Special and attached Pottinger Boss Alpin 251 loading wagon to it. After that was done we headed to the first field and started collecting grass. We got three loads of grass from the first field to the fermenting silo and then we headed to the second field where we only got two loads of grass. The grass was unloaded in fermenting silo where it will turn into grass silage. When we got everything done we washed the tractor and loading wagon and then parked them. Then we headed inside the house to take a break.
